This is why you buy eggs from a local farmer....the question is weather or not you're willing to pay the farmer more for his added time, or less to get these high volume mechanized eggs....so far most people would rather pay less, that's why there aren't many small farmers left.

To think those poor chickens will never feel grass or be able to scratch for worms :( ban the battery cage for good. In Australia and NZ the cages will be illegal starting 2022. Get on board America.

If you travel outside the USA, you may notice they store their eggs at room temperature because they are not washed. Washing strips them of the natural film that protects the eggs from spoiling. They still taste the same but you have to get your head around them being sold warm on the shelf instead of chilled.

You SOLD me on buying your eggs from now on. It started with scanning the code icon on the egg carton itself. I finished watching on U-Tube at home. The eggs were very modestly priced and I am really impressed by the fact you give prisoners a chance to regain their lives! EVERYONE needs to see this video...and ones like "Food, Inc."
