Here’s what I had included in the description: {*Soooo… of course, I had to Google “why is my toilet bubbling?” This is what I learned: “The buildup of negative air pressure is caused by a clog in one of two areas - somewhere in the drain system, which could be close to the toilet or farther down the main sewer line that connects to your community’s sewer system.” This actually happened in August, we’re now in January [May] and I’ve had no further issues… Either way, I felt that this was valuable information related to one’s home, so I decided to share it just in case any of you experience it down the line (pun totally intended!) or have experienced it in the past.*}

Lol. Actually, cleaning it is what caused the ultimate damage. There was a long drip stain down the whole right side when I first moved in, and I turned it into the smudge that you see in the pic trying to clean it… it’s like the finish came off. But yes, to your point, I definitely cleaned the inside panels when I took it apart to paint it! 😅

Counters, handles and paint is 3… but can you see what was painted? 🎨

It looks like the color was just offset due to the drastic counter change i cant see what is painted all i saw was added appliances other than the handles.

Lol 😆 What actually bothers me more is that I can see the original countertop through the paper, so I’m not 100% committed to keeping it - certainly, not worth delaying the video. I’m also popping the air bubbles sporadically with a pushpin, but it’s only noticeable in certain light so I’m fine with it for now - and probably going to replace it with the concrete. The concrete paper has zero air bubbles and is much thicker and textured. Stay tuned…! 🤗

If you meant everyone’s American Dream does (not) look the same, I totally agree with you! 💯 “Pros of homeownership” is on the calendar for August, after I update and sell my rental property this summer… I’m planning a 10-week series following that journey and documenting the financials of the completed DIY projects, the final sale and how much profit I made! 💰That said, the point of this video was primarily to showcase that renting doesn’t mean one can’t buy (often it’s a choice not to), and also to mitigate the assumption that homeownership must be the end goal. In the future, I do plan to get into investment and finance videos (as a “true story” teller). At this stage of my life, I love the idea of moving around freely (mortgage & tenant free), and I want to share my financial journey / real estate stories in order to help others that may benefit from the information. I’m glad the video inspired you to comment and share your story… thank you for that! 😊

That’s my age-old trick too! 😊 However, when I posted my last countertop video (ruclips.net/video/aUUFFQ-PySU/видео.htmlfeature=shared), everyone was so adamant about the squeegee tool. Personally, I never liked them (i.e. the larger tool that’s all one color), but this smaller one was AWESOME! The black end is a soft velvet-like material (I always assumed it was rubber or plastic), and it worked wayyyyy better than I thought it would. You can literally hear it clearing out all the air bubbles (I almost included it in the video) - it sounds like popping bubble packaging. Anyway, all of that being said, I agree with you that a tiny puncture will let the air out most effectively, but when you have several tiny air bubbles it gets a bit tedious. This tool mostly smoothed them all out in one shot! 🙌🏾 I was very impressed!
