I tested this knife yesterday, the spine is amazing, the blade cuts through soft wood like butter ..i have 4 bps knives and the bush axe ....amazing tools for the price

After I got the DBK knife I bought 5 of the BPS for myself and friends kids…..what can I say? I like driving my truck more than the Lambo Great knife 👍

I asked DBK to pass a thank you along. After getting their 10 anniversary knife I ordered the BPS DBK version and loved it so much I ordered 4 more with other sheaths and a Puukko and The Chefs knife for my friend and his family. Those kids were making the nicest curls on feather sticks and sparks were a 10. It has been a weekend to remember and I’m sure those kids will too thanks to BPS and DBK. They absolutely love their knives and they wore their sheaths all weekend with so much pride. I made sure to tell them from where the knives were made. And I use mine more than the DBK….🤫. Hope to get the axe soon. Slava Ukraini 🇺🇦

Just got my h1, I put a nice patina on it with vinegar. I love it, very well made, holds a edge and can use it for anything!

I love mine. Easily the sharpest knife out of the box I have ever bought. It’s the perfect size for every day use. This thing is worth way more than the price.

just picked up this finn lite and a adventurer. I just wish the screws were recessed or at least flush. Other than that I love them both.

Just got mine today, a superb little knife, a couple of goes on a strop and I could perform surgical operations with it.😂 It's a great carver for sure.

Well my first BPS was the adventurer love it. Then the Aura absolutely great. I just ordered the Finn lite. Guys do a great job and most importantly very affordable. Just wish i could get a lefthanded sheath for the adventurer.

Metallurgist's opinion: The knives look good, especially those without a Scandi grind. However, I see an issue with the steel used, 1066. It will sharpen easily, but the edge retention won’t be great for the price. The exception is the Beta model, made from D2. As a metallurgist, when I compare 1066 steel with 0.65% carbon to something like a carbon Mora made from C100 (almost identical to 1095) with 1% carbon and significantly better edge retention, the BPS knife doesn’t fare well in terms of price-to-edge retention ratio. Essentially, you’re paying an extra $45 for a wooden handle and leather sheath, but not for the steel. For example, the Ganzo G807, which costs around $18, has two to three times better edge retention than the 1066 BPS, and 9cr14mov steel is fairly corrosion-resistant (with 14% chromium helping with edge longevity). Sure, it has a plastic handle, but 9cr14mov is a much superior steel to 1066. If BPS knives were made from 1095/C100, O1, O2, or ideally 80crv2, I wouldn’t complain. But in this case, I don’t think BPS knives are worth the money (with the exception of the Beta model in D2). It’s also important to note that different steels can be processed differently. BUCK’s 420HC proves that even an average steel can perform well with excellent heat treatment. Unfortunately, that’s not the case with BPS. Look up "BPS knife edge retention," and you’ll see that among the tested knives, BPS in 1066 performed the worst, making around 50-60 cuts of sisal rope. Even a carbon Mora costing $7 handles 90-100 cuts. The Ganzo G807, at $18, does 160-170 cuts, and knives made from 9cr18mov or 14c28n reach 250 cuts. BPS makes visually interesting knives, but given the 1066 steel and its average heat treatment, they’re more suited for collectors or occasional users who might cut a stick a few times a year. (And they’ll be surprised how quickly the blade rusts when not in use).

If you guys ever do another run of this knife , or a similar model with the blue micarta (its a very good micarta) you should definitely add yellow liners before the blue micarta scales … represent your country colors and improve the knife by giving a wider fuller grip, in my opinion, and others, feel would improve this knife. And would look so good with the blue and yellow colors of ukraine
