Whenever Roblox says there are "too many triangles", this is because your model is too complex. To fix this, you should do 2 things 1. Watch a tutorial on how to view the amount of triangles in your model. If they exceed about 10k, then you need to degrade your model a bit 2. Use the settings like "bevel" and "subdivisions" in the menu when u make your tree and set them to low. This makes your tree simple and allows it to be realistic whilst also being low in triangles Hope this helped! If you need anything else feel free to reply!

Ok so what you want to do is

When you export, there’s a box on the right said that says “Export selected models” or something of that nature

Select it and make sure that your model is not only split into multiple parts, but also that you’re only selecting one part

Then after you’ve checked the box and selected one part, it should be good to export

Sorry for the late reply, Roblox has a set limit of 10k triangles max. What i did was watched a video on how to turn triangle counter on, then i made sure to keep my model under 10k.

Also, adding further onto that, the trunk and leaves are separate objects, therefore both of them can theoretically be 10k at max, meaning you can have a total of 20k if you distribute them right.

Lastly, if you import as an avatar mesh, you can make it go up to 11k.

Yo, let me explain why i do that. Roblox has a set number of triangles and vertexes you can have in a model. By exporting them separately, you essentially double the amount they can have. Hope this helped!

@@Mabbdaa hypothetically, although that’s something that you can take care of. This is just a simple tree tutorial so it’s not completely optimized for large scale maps. Although I must say it works well in the games that I’ve made personally.

You can search for transparent leaves on Google images if you’d like

Or make your own by tracing an image and making the leaves an actual model

Whenever exporting models, its important to do 2 things. 1, make sure everything is seperated by selecting only one of two options and making sure they arent 1 object. 2, turning on limit by selected object when exporting so that it only exports the model you have selected.

In the settings, change stuff like bevels and branch number to reduce triangles. There are videos to help you show how many triangles you have in a model

You can uninstall and reinstall a newer version

When a mesh has too many triangles, it doesn’t import

Search RUclips for a way to see triangles in blender, if it’s over like 10k triangles it won’t work

Try to downgrade the amount of curves, branches, and other factors

Lastly you can breaks up the model into parts if needed

U need 1 plane and subdivide it about 10 or 15 times, you extrude it up a tiny bit and then do the cloth physics

Yes, to script, you go into the workshop and add a script. You can find many scripting videos online. There are 2 types of scripts that i know how to use. There are Local scripts, which happen only to the player in the game, then there are regular scripts, which happen to everyone in the game. Animation has to do with scripts and a little animation id most of the time. Lastly, Blender is a 3D modeling platform that is more advanced than roblox, allowing higher detailed objects in only 1 part. Hope this helped, if you want to learn about blender, I highly recommend RoBuilder, since he has tutorials that explain the fundamentals very well. in the settings there is a number of bevels. Turn that down, have less branches, theres another one i cant quite remember right next to the bevel and turn it to like 1 or 0. Try to do all of those
