यत्करोषि यदश्नासि यज्जुहोषि ददासि यत्।
यत्तपस्यसि कौन्तेय तत्कुरुष्व मदर्पणम्।।
भगवद्प्राप्ति के अनेक साधनों में ईष्ट के प्रति सर्वतोभावेन समर्पण ही श्रेष्ठ और श्रेयस्कर साधन है । वस्तुत: समर्पण का आशय अहमन्यता अर्थात् कर्तापन के भाव विसर्जन से है, समर्पण समस्त भक्ति ग्रंथों का सार है, अतः श्रद्धा और विश्वास पूर्वक भगवदीय विधान के प्रति समर्पित रहें।
