All that effort... scuppered by Covid...

Fantastic Great please

Had my life long ambition the other day to fire and drive the Saddle tank loco, "Mardy Monster". The gentlemen who looked after me had hours of experience, and were patient,and guided me through the procedures.This is something that has stuck with me since I was a little boy, watching the trains near Honley village on the Penistone line. Im now 63 and an ambition fulfilled. Thank you to the staff at Elsecar railway.
