I'm always amazed how people can save & totally transform what to someone else would seem a hopeless cause. Wow!
Thank you.
Everything about this is wrong
What was your final cost to this or about?
About $27,000 including all the appliances n tools we needed
Very nice! Short, sweet, concise, and to the point! Thanks!
Thank you. You’re welcome
Awesome! Really like the epoxy foam boards! Ehere di you get those or who makes them? 🙏 thanks
Thanks. My wife n I made them. XPS foam boards from Lowe’s and epoxy from stone coat countertops
Excellent. Just what I was looking for …
Thanks. Glad I could help!
Car battery or arc welder?
Just a small welder I made from a microwave transformer. Made a spot welder out of it.
Great Review
Thanks
WHERE R U LOCATED FRANKIE I NEED HELP WITH MY RV CAMPER 😭😭😭
West Virginia.
Seems like way too much space for glue to fill. Is that really how much space is supposed to be created or should it be a bit less? (I am asking because I know nothing about biscuit joiners).
It does seem like a lot but the biscuits are supposed to swell up from the glue.
Thanks for taking the time to share and demo this older tool. There are lot of older tool and machinery restoration videos, but most don’t demonstrate and talk about how they really function. Great job !
Thanks a lot. I appreciate it.
Nice tutorial on this. I've had a Miter saw for ever and never thought about all these measurements. I just bought a new saw and in watching reviews I came across videos talking about squaring your saw. Great to the point video. I'lm looking forward to seeing what else is on your channel 🤘
Thank you I really appreciate it. I hope it was helpful.
Horrible
anything left original? from the trailer? Just the frames? Did it worth? Looks like you are breaking everything and building new, please clarify. What about taxes/city permit etc? I hear if you are connected to city water sewer you have to pay taxes as it is a regular house? What state are you?
No nothing left besides the frame. Yeah it worked great. We lived in it for a while then sold it. It’s in Arizona now. Idk about taxes/permits, we just built it. Idk about sewage taxes either sorry. I live in West Virginia.
Thought i saw one that had an outward feed extension? Maybe wishful thinking. Would reduce the need to build a bench lol
Yeah that would be nice
Just picked up one of the HF biscuit joiners today.. Looking forward to playing around with it. Nice video, and straight to the point. There was no pontificating about a lot of other nonsense unrelated to the HF BJ, just straight to the point info about the video title (nothing more and nothing less). I appreciate this. Nice work my dude. Keep it up.
Thank you I appreciate that
I love the shower! Color and design, freaking awesome. Great jib.
Thanks so much!
Thanks
Yw
How much was this complete build?
It was about $27,000. But that was everything including the tools, all the appliances, having a backhoe come n a full 250 gallon propane tank.
I needed something like this a while back. I just drilled the hole with a forstner bit and tapped the bearing in with a hammer.
That’s a good idea. I was worried it would split.
@@MakeshiftFrank not if the hole is just the right size. To be fair yours had a 50% failure rate anyway. My method takes 20 seconds or less to make the hole, your took you about 10 minutes of drilling and god knows how long sanding. If the hole is a bit tight just sand it a little.
Got ya. That is a good point. Yeah it did take forever sanding.
What was the total price of the build? And what year was it?
It was in 2020. It was about $27,000 all in all. But that includes the $2,500 we paid for the camper. It also includes all the appliances like the fridge, washer n dryer, heater, n external tankless water heater. It also included all the tools we had to buy n a bunch of other stuff that wasn’t really part of the tiny house. Like we had to hire someone with an excavator to dig water lines n sewage lines n it also included the propane tank rental n all the propane inside.
Fire🔥🔥🔥Now u just need 3 more exactly symmetrical pieces😭
Thanks. I did make three more just like it.
table leg indeed

Good video. Thanks.
Thank you too!
Excellent review. Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Okay I just saw your video and it's really cool. Just going to say I was super disappointed to see there wasn't a build series in your playlist. Do you remember what the stuff you used around the base was?
Thank you. Sorry, I wasn’t making videos when we built it. I only had the pictures. That stuff around the base is called 28-in x 5-ft Metal Skirting Panels. I got it at Lowe’s. Thanks for the comment.
@@MakeshiftFrank thank you
Nicely done!
Thanks!
How did you remove the base from the top, I can't get mine past the saw dust tube
On the bottom there is a metal shield. U take it off with screws. Then up inside you can find the connection to remove the blade guard. And to remove the fence, ask the connections for that are up on top of the machine in the back.
Great job ! Super cute and sturdy ! ❤ thx for sharing !
Thank you! 😊
wow looks fantastic. I just bought a 35 ft Trailer that has been sort of converted, but needs a lot of things. The floor is very spongy in spots. I have been hunting for recommendations. And a channel that will have the answers when other questions come up. It would be awesome to totally convert like you did but frankly it gave me a panic of sorts knowing how much work (and money) this would involve!!
Thanks for the comment. Yeah it’s definitely a lot of work.
Thank you! I was like why is my stupid saw messing up my cuts!!!!!!lol😂
🤣 I know the feeling. You’re welcome and thanks for the comment.
I'm looking to do something similar but I'm not handy so will have to get contractor to do most of work but i can help albeit limited. I have some ideas and would appreciate practical input for planning budgeting and buildout. May i reach out? Thx annie
Sure. I used Keyplan 3D to design it. I’ll help however I can.
so u tore the camper down to nothing and then built a home,??? i wouldnt say its a camper to a tiny house , all u did was build a tiny house on a camper frame XD
You'd be surprised just how effective that old high speed steel blade can be. Just at the apex of HSS blades, Sears came out with Chroma edge designs, darn near held up almost as well as carbide blades, but when the C.T. technology became cheap, carbide ruled the planet. It was advised to NOT use wobble dado blades on radial arm saws as it would put too much stress on the bearings. I did use the set you show on my radial but never ran it maxed out like you show, I'd simply make multiple passes to get what I wanted. Thanks for demo 'ng this blast from the past, I recently bought one off Ebay just for old times' sake, I don't plan on using it but wanted one just the same.
That’s awesome. I’ve never used a HSS blade before. I’ll have to try it out one day. Thanks for the comment.
Great job making everything work!! Looks awesome!
Thanks a lot.
Thank you very much for this video, I just bought a 30-40 year old craftsman jointer today off FB marketplace that could use a little TLC. It's not bad, but I don't trust that it was taken care of so it's going to get a tune up.
You’re welcome. I hope I was able to help. Thanks for watching. Good luck getting your jointer tuned up.
Amazin job to God be the glory
Beautiful
Thank you
A trailer is something you tow, hence trail (behind you)-er; a camper is not towed, it rests upon/within and connected to a vehicle and not trailing behind like a trail-er. Your beautiful home is made from a trailer. 😊
Bruh, How to adjust the 90 degree angle? You did not show how to adjust it if its a little bit off.
At 2:15 I show how to adjust vertically to be square to the table. There’s a little bolt that needs raised or lowered. At 6:08 I show how to adjust horizontally to be square to the fence. The fence has two bolts that you can loosen to move either side of the fence in or out. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Frank!
You’re welcome. Thank you.
Currently in the middle of building mine from an old jayco frame..this is trick asf y’all did a awesome job and y’all gave me the motivation to keep going
Awesome! Thank you! I’m glad we was able to help you stay motivated. Good luck.
¡Gracias!
Thank you very much.
Had one when I was a apprentice worked really well from oxford England 🏴
Cool. I have no idea what this one is. It seems to work pretty good though.
Awesome!
Thanks!
The pins are so you can center the device/bit on the center of whatever you are drilling into. You just set the device over the board and twist the base, left or right, and that will place it right on the center of the board.
OK cool. Thank you.
Same problem with mine. Broke both links. Should be back together soon. Sourced some steel to replace them and bought a tap
Awesome. Fixed mine with some steel from an old axe head.
👍👍👍👍👍
