Unusable for a newbie
Thanks for sharing the tutorial, this works well in GeoHECRAS too!!
Sadly I thought the point of the video was a walkthrough on how to DEVELOP that flood zone data, not how to just simply add the developed product to the map... 😕
Congratulations on the video, it was very good and thorough. I have a request for you, since only you can enlighten us on this difficult topic: Could you explain the ulity network, perhaps for telecommunication networks? Thank you so much you are bravoism, I write from Italy, but here nobody can explain as well as you!

Good one, although the simulation in Google Earth appears to be much quicker, unless you don't have 3D cover in your area: www.mkrgeo-blog.com/the-flood-simulation-in-google-earth/

Excuse me I want to get the shape file of the Base Flood elevation of the USA to use it in the Matlap Mapping Tool box Can I??
Where can I get flood zone risk shapfiles for Tokyo ?
Best would be to ask Tokyo city's administration or Japanese Civil defence authorities. The shape files of flood zones are produced via remote sensing by assessing the historical floods, capturing flood elevation and using DEM, or modeled by flood modelers :)
There is a multiple ring buffer tool available.
