Awesome God Dance
St. Luke's On-Fire Family Ministry for HS Juniors offers an opportunity to travel to the Bronx, NY and help put on a VBS. The song and dance was the main ingredient to the VBS. Dancing to the song "Awesome God" by R Swift, the Bronx team and the congregation praised God with actions and voice during our Mission: Impossible report back weekend! Shout out to Rev. Matthew Gonzalez in the Bronx, NY for the creation of the dance moves.

This is great! Keep spreading the word if God. Those who dislike this have overlooked the basic point. It is easier to tell what is wrong, and complain, than to actually get up and be active. To those who have hate in their heart: Drawing those around you down to lift yourself up will only lead to sadness. Think deeply about WHY you are hateful. Concluding Ideas: This was a great way of getting youth involved and excited about their faith. Passion is a powerful tool. God is Good.

Rap originated as a form of street preaching. Many early rappers warned against drugs and violence in their lyrics.

James Clark because its not the music genera that matters it the meaning and the lyrics. while most rap has bad meanings this one does not. showing that even rap can have more meaning. God did not any where in the bible say what music listen to. So if the meaning is good and praises the lord it is not wrong.
