X-plane 11.30 Landing and take off from both Runway 15 and 33. Each runway have their own unique challenge where Runway 15 is relatively easier for the approach due to the straighter Paro Valley to the north of the airport but very challenging on the final due to a very short distance to line up for the touchdown due to the hilly terrain at the threshold of Runway 15. Runway 33 on the other han...

This is a full uncut footage of the approach and landing onto Runway 15 Paro seen from the Pilot’s perspective. Paro presents a formidable challenge to larger aircraft attempting a landing due to the surrounding mountainous terrain, wind gust, relatively short runway, obstacles, no navigational aids and a zig-zag final to the runway. This takes a non-conventional approach to make the landing an...

Can you help me with the conversion? I got it somewhat converted but there are lots of issues
Hi Clarence, would you mind emailing me or sending on FB messenger the Flytampa Kai Tak scenery for Xplane 11? Thanks.

What imagery source did you use?
Wow, amazing!
I've flown offsore EGNV helping to see any rig offshore but nothing, just water. Any help?
Same here
Hello Clarence, could you please tell me the name of the rig you landed to? I couldn't find it on X-plane 11.
Awsome!!!!
how do you get this pack? I cant find it anywhere on the net
Great flight , nice city! Thanks for sharing it, from spain with love :D
wtf is this music xd

is the scenery and airport add-on or dlc?
I likes
I play fsx and I’m thinking about getting x plane 11, is this the default scenery for French Polynesia in the game?
That's a great vid👍
Plz fly buddha air
What scenery is that ? Is that stock or a add on ? Thanks for info. Nice.
How can we download this?
Cris De Sousa play Microsoft flight sim on Xbox game pass its $1
Amazing video! Best I've seen this year!
Nz Plane Spotter Thank you
looks great. where do you have the airport from? it's not in the download.
The airport is a converted FSX scenery from Thai Creation which I could not upload for obvious reasons.
Wow, that was a lot of work, but it was worth it! Not only the scenery looks professional, but also the video is very well done! You learn a lot about the old walls and buildings, it was worth watching, thanks for that. You have to look at a lot of information several times.
Der Rote Baron Manfred von Richthofen thank you for the kind words of encouragement. Indeed this was a very challenging project to begin with. The project itself had multiple goals which is to create public awareness of the world heritage sites and learn how to leverage on sketch up 3D modeling for flight simulation applications.
Nice landing! How did you get x-plane?
Thank you. I got it via the x-plane website. They have this sim for both Windows and Mac. You can download their demo and give it a try. Here is the link www.x-plane.com
It's amazing
Mahaan Talukdar thank you.
awesome sir...liked it
Mahaan Talukdar thank you. Please feel free to subscribe to view other videos.
Very nice video with introducing the landmarks! Appreciated
HK8 Aviator thank you for the kind words.
Do you have a link to the scenery? thanks
The airport scenery is the Thai Creation Don Mueang International which I converted from FSX. Here is the link secure.simmarket.com/thai-creation-sawasdee-bangkok_don-mueang-international-airport-fsx.phtml The rest of the scenery is made with Ortho4XP. Here is the download link forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/160337-ortho4xp-v130-exe-version/
What atr are u using?
petri salo it’s the ATR72 from Aerosoft for Xplane 10. It still works in XP11.
Xplane or fsx?
Mohd Fardly it is Xplane with the WMSA scenery converted from FSX.
@@clarenceboudville3252 wow nice scenery engine...fsx still at the back
Mohd Fardly in this case, yes that I used the FSX scenery as the base because there isn’t one currently available off the shelf. However, there are tools available to convert the scenery into xplane. It’s still a fair bit of work to edit.
That's awesome! Loved it.
Mahaan Talukdar you are most welcome. Glad you liked it.
You do realize you're absolutely not supposed to strike the tail when you're landing an auto?
Marshall Yaklin thanks for the advise. I am still learning.
Hi could you please share link to this scenery? I have been searching this scenery from ages but couldnt find proper workable one.
Anish Adhikari, Kathmandu airport is an FSX scenery which I converted while Pokhara is a freeware Xplane scenery available from X-plane.org. Kathmandu is available here secure.simmarket.com/thai-creation-namaste-nepal-tribhuvan-intl-airport-fsx.phtml
Amazing!! Can you show me the procedure about auto-rotation?
Thanks Daniel. I am using the technique I learnt on RC heli albeit it differs slightly in X-plane. On engine failure, smoothly drop the collective and pitch down slightly while observing the rotor RPM and airspeed to keep within the limits. If the rotor speed exceeds the max limit, add a little collective to slow the rotor down slightly (keeping it in the green). If the rotor rPM drops, trade forward speed by pitching the nose up slightly. The whole idea with autorotation is energy management in the form of altitude and speed for a controlled descend without overstressing the airframe in the process. So you are basically trading between air speed and altitude and balancing that trade off until you reach the ground. As you are getting close to the ground, smoothly pull the cyclic back a little to make the descend shallower and flying almost parallel and slowly sinking down to the runway. Smoothly add collective to slow the descend and gently flare till your skid touches the runway. Continue to add collective to keep the helicopter "light" until it skids to a stop. It's not easy and needs plenty of practice to a point where you can "walk away" after landing. Hope this helps.
Thanks so much. I will practice as you show me. Thanks again.
Daniel Park you are welcome. Have fun.
Unrealistic glide ratios, high flares
Excelente!
A330Turbinex thank you.
how did you get the vnkt scenery?
The VNKT scenery is converted from an FSX scenery
How? 😭 I tried doing that with fs2xp but didn’t work
Mr ALLMIGHTY I used FS2XP. It works. You just have to try the conversion settings. Much of it is trial and error
Thanks a lot for the info. Much appreciated.
Quick question. What software did you use to make the video? X-plane in built recorder? Looks good.
The movie was recorded using the Xplane built in video recorder. Then it’s edited using Apple iMovie.
Sorry to ask so many questions but what settings and frame rates within the X-plane video maker to get it the right size for You Tube and what was the file size for your video here? What is the video format when you up load to You Tube? AVI or MPEG? I have just been helping a livery designer with the livery for a Griffin 412 I work on in real life and would love to make a video of it. I am OK with editing. Just need some advice with the initial settings. forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/files/file/49645-bell-412-zj703
skyweaver100 there is an option in Xplane to set the recording frame rate which I use 60fps and 1080p. I sometimes use 30pfs too. The output from Xplane is avi if I remember correctly. Then it’s imported into iMovie. What I do on Xplane is either fly the entire route if it’s a short one and then use replay to record with the camera positions. I sometimes also run replay during the flight to record as well. And on rare occasions I record in real-time when the aircraft is on AP. Once edited on iMovie, I just output to MP4 which I keep and also upload to RUclips. RUclips converts to its format by itself. I prefer MP4 since the iMovie QuickTime format is huge. Hope this helps.
@@clarenceboudville3252 So here's my first video. Thanks for help. It was really useful. Didn't plan the run-on landing! Too many camera / recording buttons made me lose concentration and I lowered the collective instead of raising it! ruclips.net/video/qVD4F-d3Lio/видео.html

Brought back some memories. Spent 6 years married accompanied, at Kerteh, with Bristows / MHS, working as Licenced Avioinic Engineer on the S61s, 76s and 412s. Lived on the beach in a bungalow in Paka just north of the gas plant and power station. After 25 years sabbatical from flight sims I have recently been getting to grips with X-plane and the brilliant Trident 412, however having written off 20-30 412s over the last week, I am now back at Redhill Aerodrome (Bristows old HQ) learning how to hover / taxi!
skyweaver100 , good to hear that it brings back memories. Yes the X-Trident B412 is a joy to fly. It takes a lot of practice to fly the Heli’s properly more so on xplane due to its realistic flight model. Not easy and it requires a lot of patience and determination.
i born in paka :) , i hope you have a good times here. food at pasar malam good?hahahaha
