All the cupboards emptied, bits and pieces thrown everywhere, no bench space to be found. Is it really going to come together in time for our first test run?

One piece of equipment that I have carried over from my last 4wd Ford Everest to the new Next Gen Everest is my Bushwakka 270 awning. In this video we'll look at and review how simple and quick it is to set up and pack up Click the links below for a great deal Bushwakka Awning t.cfjump.com/85184/t/73792?Url=https://www.outbackequipment.com.au/extreme-270-ps Clearview Mirrors t.cfjump.com/85184/...

I'm not exactly the worlds best cook, but after watching all these other Australian travellers throw in a cooking segment on their travel blogs, I figured I'd give it a crack. Let us know what you think
What's the actual dynamic roof rating, Ford website says "60-100 kg"... 60 is with sunroof?
You got the PLATINUM badging removed on the bonnet? Is it noticeable where it was? Want to do the same
Bonnet struts! Love the boot setup
Looks good young fella
Pls post after you’ve filly set it up. 👍
Looking forward to having it all set up and showing off my hard work. 👍
Good luck with your trip! We are about to hit the road to head up NT. Unfortunately will only make it up as far as Mataranka this time around.
Thanks for the video mate
My recommendation is to put a bonnet protector on to help deflect and minimize any noise from the roof rack. I did it on my UAII and now my Next Gen.
How are you for weight when towing without the gvm upgrade
What size roof rack have you fitted?
What rock sliders are you going with? Cheers.
I've gone with the offroad animal rock sliders that I'll show next week once the drawers and electrics have been done.
Hi, Have an Everest sport coming later in the year and just wondering (roughly) how much the wrap was?
The wrap was around 7500 to cover eveything except the front bumper which was coming off for the bull bar anyway
Do u also experience weird engine noise when accelerating?
Great video. One question. What offset are your rims? We are looking at doing something very similar
+30 offset
Hi mate what size tyres are they. And are the rims offset if they are what are they. Thank you.
@geoffreybuttigieg7458 The Tyres are 265/70 R17 and the mwheels are a +35 offset
Thank you.
I’d definitely say a vacuum sealer is worth it. the butcher does a good job vacuum sealing meats but if you like to make your own marinades for your meat doing it at home ends up making more sense. It sometimes also cheaper as some butchers charge extra for cryopack. I have a foodsaver brand vacuum sealer which might be overkill but hasn’t gone wrong on me. I do get the much cheaper Kmart food sealer bags though as they work the same at less than half price. For camping in particular aswell I like pre-chopping things like capsicums and onions etc so it takes up less space, saves a job out at camp and they still stay crisp after when vacuum sealed. another reason particularly for off-roading is for getting pasta sauce and that out of the jar it’s in. nothing worse than going over a bump and hearing something shatter inside the fridge. also much less/lighter trash at camp when it’s all little plastic bags not jars and containers.
Thanks for the info. I was also thinking for leftovers. I have a habit of cooking enough for a few days at a time.
Would have been nice if you had shown with the rear tailgate open. Interested to see if it closhes?
Stay tuned that will be put up as a short tomorrow
I bought a Dune 4x4 folding camp bed. It's rated to 200kgs, and is wide and long. It's great. Check anaconda for them. Over a LOT of use it started to stretch down so when I use it I have a roll-up yoga mat and a thermal sleeping pad I chuck underneath and it works an absolute charm.
We alternate between the caravan and the swag, both are way too hard for me. I will try the yoga mat and see how that goes. Thank you.
@@AwesomeAussieAdventures-ex3kd if one yoga mat isn't enough, use two. They're fairly cheap at K-Mart.
If your using a blow up camping mattress exped mega mat is an incredible buy, but if your using just a normal foam mattress in a camper van I’d look at getting a new mattress AND possibly a pillow topper then you will definitely be getting that close to home sleep.
Thank you. I am going to look into a new Mattress and a good quality mattress Topper. My sleep is vital to me being a nice person the next day. 😉
I know what can fit on the back seat, old mate ME 😂😂
I was just about to tell Mandy that you're tagging along, when she said that we're ripping the backseat out😥
Any plans coming to Tassie. If you do you must stop by and say Gday to an old friend
Which old friend would that be?
G'day mate, I'd think of looking at a lithium dual battery set up. So much lighter, bigger capacity, and less voltage drop. You could run a permanent or portable version using anderson plugs. Have been enjoying your training videos too, some great content!
Cheers mate, I've been considering using kickass again for the new car as they now have a slimline lithium. The current setup has ran seamlessly and was so easy to install and makes sense to stick with what I know works well.
