I half ass all my videos.
1, "Agoraphobia"
Excuse this rather edgy photo of me. This is a discarded song of mine that I found on my hard drive from about 5 months ago. I'm not planning on doing anything with it so I'm uploading it here, I guess. Btw, if you're wondering what that in the background is, it's a massive blanket covering the only window in my room so that it's always dark.

VERY low effort cover I made of Decalius - Loneliness in about an hour while I was bored. Edit: By the way, I'm aware that it's a bit out of time due to slight plugin delay I didn't notice at first, lol. I noticed that and many other things I could've done better shortly after uploading. I'm also aware it's not 100% accurate to the original, I wasn't trying to be. If a few people would like me ...

i am glad you're doing well, extraordinary song. take care
i commented this shit before i saw your 9 cover and the comment on my channel 💀jesus
Well? Bro, I'm suffering hard rn💀. But thanks.
Amazing work!
Damn I love this, thank you so much. ❤
Now imagine with vocals 😩🖤
Now imagine us listening to this on a snowed in night of my 4th story "modern" eastern European apartment in a room lit by the TV, laying in a bed next to the window where we can look out and see the heavy snow ontop of all the buildings and blanketing the roads. It's Slightly chilly but we have each other's warmth under the sonic blankey.
@@juggerswood dawg im just here for the music.
Im here for you @6xxluixx614 I'm real.
Could be beautiful ಠ_ಠ
Amazing bass...! It's so nice to hear such a clean cover of my favorite song. It's perfect
Great work keep going
you are a life saver this is my favorite song of all time and i couldn’t find any tabs until i came across you🤘
Stupid question but what drum machine is used in this video?
@@Matacuri_666 Not a stupid question. I used Superior Drummer 3, Death & Darkness SDX on all of my Trist videos.
Sounds awesome... Good job
thanks
thanks for posting, so fun to read the tab and play to the song! cheers!
Man how do you make that trist guitar tone? Any eq, pedals, effects you can tell me?
It's nothing special. I just drowned a dry guitar tone in reverb for all my trist videos. Edit: I can't remember exactly what I used here, maybe I can look later. I think for all my trist videos, it was: "Archetype Nolly" > "Dragonfly Hall Reverb" And I'd pretty much just use an absurd amount of the reverb. But really, I think any hall reverb would work. Then just double tracked, one panned hard left, the other hard right.
More Trist pls. Amazing band and knowing how to play it's like a dream. Especially this one for me. Thank you!
What program do you use for drums?
Superior Drummer 3, Death & Darkness sdx

Thank you so much for teaching this masterpiece 🖤

hey man can you please tab out Ticho Je Svoboda or Květy Snových Dálek by trist? Absolute depressing masterpieces. I will literally give money.

hi friend, I recently started playing the guitar and I would like to know how to set up my Marshall MG10G MG Gold amplifier to achieve a dsbm sound. I'm looking forward to your response. Thank you!
Hi. I'm not really the guy to ask, as I just use amp plugins, not actual amps lol. But if you're going for the "lo-fi" type dsbm tone, then basically any heavily distorted tone will do, and maybe reverb. If you're trying to record, I'd recommend doing everything in the box, ("in the box" means in a computer, if you don't know) as it's much easier, cheaper, and you have a lot more options for guitar tones using plugins and impulse responses, especially if you're a beginner. If you have any other questions, ask and I'll try to give a good answer, but know I'm no pro myself lol.
@@lkshiuxcvy Where can I start playing and learn more quickly? I've started with tablature and I'm understanding how it works, but I still don't have that speed with my fingers. Could you give me some advice? Thank you! I fixed the amplifier and now it produces an even heavier sound. I appreciate it! Do you have Discord or Instagram? So, if ever, I can contact you there.
I don't know how much of a beginner you are, but when I first started, I learned from Justin Sandercoe's website (lol), kinda cringe, but it got me started since I'm self taught. BM and especially dsbm is really simple, so even a beginner would probably be able to play most bm songs, though it may take a bit to get used to switching between chords. It also depends on how good you're trying to get, if you're just trying to have enough technique to play BM, then I think you should find a tab for a song you like that is within your ability and practice that until you can play it well. Again, bm is really simple so it will probably only take learning a few songs well before you're able to play most. Also my discord is lol321#2107 (wack ik lol) This is unrelated but are you just learning for fun, or are you trying to make your own music?
@@lkshiuxcvy Thank you, and anyway, for creating my own dsbm music project, but that's still far off. I've downloaded an application on my phone with tablatures for every song. I spend 1-2 hours a day on it, and I'm learning slowly. I want to become good at playing, and I hope I can achieve that
Keep in mind that guitar playing is a relatively small part when it comes to making a bm song, so don't get too hung up on it. And if you're doing everything on your own then there's also song-writing, mixing, recording, etc, which are all equally important. Feel free to contact me on discord if you want any help, I don't mind. Good luck
Keep giving us bards the classic black metal tabs man
Bless you sir, i would love mpre trist tab, such a legendary group, dsbm has helped me through everything
Do Pavor Nocturnus by Nyktalgia please
How does the bassline go? i can't ever seem to make it sound right.
You're talking about the bassline at 0:23? The rhythm is kind of hard to explain in a comment, not that it's very complex though. I'm playing these notes as 8th notes, all on the A string, and sliding up to them: 2nd fret, 4th fret, 7th fret, 9th fret, then 10th fret. The E on the 7th fret I'm only playing for a single 8th note. Also a lot of the sound is coming from the massive amount of reverb I have on the bass, lol.
Nice channel bro, so glad to find it, exactly what I need! What about Pohreb Svetel, love this song so much! But it will be hard to pick up. Will be(
do sneni by trist
It's a very simple song, I can just tab it in a comment (if youtube lets me and doesn't delete it lol) Riff 1: e-- B-- G--9---9--- D--10-10- A--0---8--- E-- Play those chords for 2 measures *each* Then there's a variation with these chords: e-- B-- G--9---12-12-10-9--- D--10-10-10-10-10- A--0---0---8---8---8--- E-- Those are just the chords, though the rhythm is super simple, I'm sure you can figure it out easily Riff 2: e-- B-- G-- D-------0----------0----------0---------0------------------------------------------------------------- A----4----4----4----4----4----4----4----4--------------------------------------------------------- E--2---------2-----------1---------1------------------------------------------------------------------- x2 x2 (Let each note ring) All played as 8th notes. The guitar is also super drowned out in reverb btw
huge thank you
Killer, thanks for posting. What's your setup, how you pulling off that sick tone?
Thanks. The tone is really simple. I'm using the rhythm amp & cab of the Archetype Nolly amp sim by Neural DSP. Along with an absurd amount of reverb, a very wet mix, specifically, I'm using Dragonfly hall reverb, which is a free plugin.
@@lkshiuxcvy Hell yeah dude, I've been playing with the Soldano 100 sim by Neural DSP, it's great. Might have to check out Archetype Nolly. Great channel. Cheers
Hey man, any chance you’d be willing to share your preset for this particular track? Be cool to play along.
you're an actual hero bro. ty so much
Not dsbm, but I would be grateful if you do tabs for Kroda - Похорон Сонця (Funeral of the Sun) (pagan bm) From dsbm I would like to see tabs for Sterbend - Einsamkeit
Pretty close but I think some chords are not entirely correct, for example the first riff is more like: b: 7 5 a: 5 5 E: 0 6 So the second chord is the same but the first chord is slightly different. And btw, you are actually playing the song in 16th notes instead of 8th notes. The tempo is half slower than what you show in your tab. So around 61 bpm.
Yeah you're right about the first chord, I thought it may have been slightly off, my bad. I am playing it in 8th notes though, I'm not playing the upstrokes
@@lkshiuxcvy Yes, I know you are only playing downstrokes but it's still 16th notes. 16th notes means that you are playing 4 notes every beat. Because as I said, the original song is half the speed. It's not 122 bpm, more like 61 bpm. So, you strum the chords twice as often as you should.
I understand what you're saying. I just opened up the daw session and re-recorded a riff as quarter notes at 122 bpm, just to see if it was accurate. And yes, you're right, the riffs are half the speed in the original, my bad. Though, 8th notes at 61 bpm, or quarter notes at 122 bpm, it's the same, you know this.
Thank you for taking my request! I didn't expect you to deliver the video so quick. You are awesome!
Hell yeah! I would love to see some tabs from a dsbm song that you like.☠
