I certainly hope so! I always install the Long-Term Service Release so everything continues to work as it should. I'll be installing the newest LTS Release of Mint in the New Year. Mint has been my favorite distribution of Linux for many years.....just awesome ;-)

I tested some WebGL code on mine from webglsamples.org. Those are running smooth for me. I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060. I'm running Linux Mint 20.3 (Una). I'm always hesitant to enable hardware acceleration in a web browser as it's been pretty glitchy for me in the past. So far so good.

I used a Radiolink R8FM Receiver not the stock RX. So I used the Radiolink Protocol.

Some of these gyros are strange with any trim input. I mechanically trimmed mine. I also found issues when changing gyro modes if there was any trim input. Some gyros also act strange until there is throttle input.

Thanks! It's a shame they keep changing these protocols on these planes. You might try MT99xx, FrSky, and FlySky protocols as they use one of those from time to time.

Hum...I honestly don't know. They're both great airframes and once I get both all tuned I might be able to pick which one I think is the better of the two.

Thank You! Yes, the replacement EDF Unit was quite a bit heavier than the stock unit and would have required a lot of battery up front to get the CG. I opted to go with a pusher motor and prop to keep it fairly light. I'll use the new EDF in a DIY project.

That's always a risk with these linkages that do not have clevises. I just twist the control horns enough to remove the linkage rod and I haven't broken one yet but I'm sure I eventually will. It's much easier at the servo arm as I remove the servo arm to change the linkage and then re-attach it.

Thanks! Yes, exactly 30g from where it was stock with 5g of nose weight. My All-Up-Weight with that 3S LIPO is 175g. It has a 2:1 Thrust-to-Weight Ratio, so Unlimited Vertical ;-) Much Fun!

It's become my favorite sub-250g warbird.

Hum...you may not realize this but this is a list of the best planes in which I've performed a review. How can I rate a plane I've never flown? Have e-Flite send me some planes to review and then I'll see how they stack up.

No, I don't think a 7x5 prop on this motor would be too much. The motors RadioLink puts in their planes are very good quality with plenty of torque. I try to find a balance of power and flight time and putting a 3S LIPO in it with the stock prop provides unlimited vertical and plenty of flight time. My guess is a 7x5 prop will provide even more power while sacrificing a bit of flight time.

Hum...I think it depends on how you like to fly as to which of those 2 you would like the best. The XK A280 is my 2nd favorite because it doesn't have a Manual Mode. The 3D Mode is great though and allows you to perform aerobatics with some gyro stability. I prefer the Eachine P51D as it has a Manual Mode and I can perform aerobatics without any gyro input. I would say the performance of these (2) Warbirds is about the same. So, if you like to fly in Manual Mode I think you'll like the Eachine P51D. However, if you want some stability while performing aerobatics you'll like the XK A280 better. They are both the (2) best sub-250g Warbirds I've flown so you can go wrong with either one. But now that I think about it, why settle for 1? Buy both of them ;-)

Bending a motor shaft is a possibility as I've bent a few of mine. It flies great with the prop saver just a bit harder to get balanced and smooth.

@@tinkerzlab On mine when the gyro is on it seems to add a bit of up elevator, it’s completely neutral when the gyro is off in expert mode. How did you deal with that? I’m using a multi-protocol radio so I think may try and mix in some down with the throttle when the gyro is on. Seems in a lot of videos everyone is fighting it from climbing with throttle. It would be nice if it had a mode with stabilization but not limit the controls also. Thanks

@@jeffgorski6672 I lifted the tail and re-calibrated the gyro. I also put 2.5g of nose weight on mine.

Yes, I assumed either the motor, esc, or both would provide some magic smoke on 3S and I wasn't disappointed ;-) I did receive the new XFly Galaxy 40mm EDF Unit and it looks fantastic but at 40g it's much heavier than the stock unit. I didn't want to make this Jet too heavy and wasn't sure I could get the CG with that EDF so I opted to put a pusher motor and prop on it. It's now a Cloud Buster ;-) I currently have the Re-Maiden of this Jet Scheduled for release on Oct. 13. I'll be using that new EDF in another project.

Thank You! I has a DSM & SBUS/PPM Port on the board. I used a Radiolink SBUS receiver to bind to mine so as long as you have an DSM or SBUS/PPM receiver that uses the protocol you need you'll have no problem.
