Easy Homemade Chocolate Spread (Nut Free!!)
Просмотров 4,5 тыс.7 месяцев назад
This Chocolate Spread is so good, you’ll want to lick the knife clean! It’s easy to make, uses just a few ingredients, and is naturally NUT FREE, so it’s a great alternative to peanut butter or Nutella. This has been a fan favorite since 2012 (!!!) but this year I’ve updated the recipe and developed two variations by popular demand: dairy-free chocolate spread, and sugar-free chocolate spread! ...

That looks so good
I bought the honey graham, would I add the sugar to it?
Awesome! Just wondering, how much of each ingredient? Do exact measurements matter a lot? Thanks!
Could you mix the colors to get a more colorful stained glass look? Or would they just mix together?
That actually sounds fantastic!🎉❤
No girl you should know better
Why would you bite into hard candy with your front teeth? Such a dumb idea
if that thin layer of hard candy damages your teeth, you’ve definitely got bigger problems to worry about 😂
Does the candy cane cup melt with the hot chocolate?
I come back to this recipe every year. A winner. I’ve done it with Andes mints and also half chocolate half peanut butter chips which is the best ever (and I’m not a huge peanut butter person but it’s really the perfect ratio). Always turns out great with lots of compliments.
they look soo gooddd i would love to try them for my family! where is the recipe located? x
But are they good tasting? Many are so dry and tasteless.
I love how this video is formatted! Lovely work ❤
These look delicious!
WAY To underrated.
I went to school for baking, and I don’t remember baking the tops and bottoms separately. I remember just making the mushrooms in one go, and you’d make them all different shapes and sizes to decorate the cakes
I tried this but mine came out drier for some reason 😢
Jesus loves you❤
this is a recipe, not a church
How long do I bake them?
225F (105C) for 1 hour
Everyone loves this recipe!
It looks delicious 😋 😍 Can I get the ingredients list please... I would love to make them...
I don't know if you saw but it's written in the description :) (click on the title of the short to open it)
@SoopBlueSide TYSM GIRLIE 😊 💕
If i am using 70% chocolate can i skip the cocoa powder?
It’s beautiful tho, but I don’t get it… The eating part that I don’t get it…
fun game to play: which one breaks first the candy or your teeth
i feel like my teeth wouldn’t enjoy biting this
thankfully baked candy canes become more brittle! 😅
@@lilacheart_ I would hope so.
I made them and they tasted like absolutely nothing.
Like to much flour 😒. I made mine last night😢😢
Sounds deli homemade and baked. Ty
My sprinkles totally burned and melted. Is there a way to prevent this?
They actually don’t need the sprinkles they’re pretty on their own😊
This is gorgeous!
This recipe is always so good. The video is amazing at explaining how to do the steps. Thank you! 🫶🏼
وفسر الماء بعد الجهد بالماء
Thanks for sharing!🙏
You forgot to add the steps where you put the salt and baking soda in.. almost messed me up. Thank god I’m not dumb.
Well u see thank goodness they ain’t for me lmao 🤣
You spent more than half the video jerking off about how to make graham cracker crumbs and then farted out the other ingredients in a three second window, flashed away from them to force the user to have to pause to write it down, and then the thumbs went down
Oh didn’t realize it’s in the description!!! Can I use coconut suger instead of regular?
Hi! I haven't tried it with coconut sugar but my guess is it would work. It's pretty flexible - I've done it with several different sugar replacement products (like Swerve and Splenda) and it works fine. (You can see the recipe for the sugar-free version here: www.sugarhero.com/sugar-free-chocolate-spread/) I don't know how the sweetness of coconut sugar compares to regular sugar so I can't say if you need to adjust the quantity to keep the same sweetness, but if you bake with it regularly hopefully you have an idea of how they compare. Please come back and let me know how it goes if you give it a try!
Recipe please
This looks amazing! If kids will be serving themselves I would put the dry ice in a separate bowl of liquid close to the punch to get the spooky fog effect without risk of injury ❤❤❤
AWESOME IDEA!!
I loved your video! But how can I... dehydrate it? (I'm not sure if that's the term.) See, my crust ends up all moist, and when I cut the slices, some of it ends up in the pan. I need to somehow harden it and dry it.
Yes, definitely! I usually suggest baking it at 350 F for 12-15 minutes, but if you find that it's still a bit soft for your taste, you can try extending the baking time by a few minutes. You could also try reducing the temperature and baking it even longer - I haven't done this myself, but something like 325 for 20-22 minutes might get you the results you're looking for. Baking does run the risk of making the crust harder, so it's a balancing act between getting it firm enough to cut cleanly, and not so firm that it's not enjoyable to eat. But your ideal texture can vary depending on the filling you're using - very soft and moist fillings do well with a firm crust. I know this isn't a definitive answer, but hopefully it gives you an idea of the direction to go in. Please let me know how it goes if you give it a try!
@ Awesome! I’ll definitely try that, much appreciated ☺️ 🙏🏻
I appreciate how you explain the different types of piping tips! Piping from the center and working one's way out is a good pointer. Thank you!
Thank you so much, I'm glad you found it helpful!
U should recommend someone put a screen over the dry ice. It does evaporate over time leaving small pieces.
I have alot of graham-crackers I can use. I am going to give a try.
It looks delicious but you made a candy corn cupcake and didn’t put candy corn on it?
That’s adorable! I love how it turned out ❤
2 cups of vodka seems a little bit not even close to being enough
I am making the snow and dough is too dry, have added more butter??
Hi! Sorry to hear that. How did you measure the flour - by weight or by volume? If measured using cups, the culprit is often scooping too much flour or compacting it when scooping, which can make the cookies dry. They can also seem a little dry if the butter/sugar aren't creamed together well enough, until light and fluffy. I imagine it's too late now, but you could add a touch of milk (start with like 1/2 tsp) a bit at a time, just until the dough feels more workable.
I know this recipe is old, but I'm making your pumpkin chocolate mousse cake and nowhere on the recipe page does it say how much whipped cream is needed it just says heavy cream. But in your video of that cake you just use whipped cream when making the mousse. Am I misunderstanding something? Thank you
Hi! So for each layer you need 1.5 cups of cream. 1/2 cup is melted with the chips, and the remaining cup is whipped and folded into the mixture. (For instance, for the cinnamon layer, step 5 starts "Whip the remaining 1 cup heavy cream to firm peaks"... etc. Same for all the layers). It's kind of a tricky recipe in that the 3 layers share similar steps and ingredients, but because they need time to chill between each mousse layer so the gelatin sets, it's difficult to do them all as one batch, so you end up whipping cream for the layers 3 different times. Does that make sense? Please feel free to email me with any other questions - sometimes YT comments fall through the cracks so email is a little safer for getting a reply. elizabeth@sugarhero.com :)
U on some robloxian type shit 💀💀
How many does it make approximately?
I'd love to see you do a halloween or christmas cake thats like this one. The little scene in the middle was really cute and seemed simple enough for almost anyone to pull off. It would be cool to see how you implement the same sort of concept for other holidays too.
Honestly I love that idea! Like a carved pumpkin with a little Halloween scene in the middle or something. Putting it on the idea list! 😊
It would have been really nice to actually have a tutorial
Agreed tbh. This is a very old video and it could use a re-do to be more helpful. I'll see what I can do. 😊
