@@Heteachethmyhandstowar I’m not a gunsmith and I didn’t want to try and fix it or send it back to Springfield, so I got rid of it and bought the AF Romulus and I never looked back! No issues out of the box.

@@ericvazquez7623 I think it will do great as is. If you have practiced with it you should shoot it at 95 % what a nice 2011 would do.

@ thanks for the response ! That makes me feel better I was overthinking the size of the barrel and if it would reach steel at 25yards. I love my p10c and shoot it rather well as it is. More training translates to better results so I’ll focus on that Thanks man

@ also.. what holster do you use? I also have the mini Valkyrie on my p10 but planned to remove the light for carry optics. Not sure if the added bit of weight would even make a difference in all honesty but I’m curious bc I couldn’t find a competition holster for the cz with the mini

@ericvazquez7623 I can hit full size steel at 105 yards with the p10c 4 inch barrel even ported. There should be no issue.

@ericvazquez7623 i bought mine on ebay. Just look for p10c holster with mini olight.

@hansgruber6381 Probably not. Not a personal fan a short 1911s, and I have a bul viper to fill that void. I would like another sub compact but have other options in mind.

@@matthewberkowitz8284 Depends on what budget they have. Tisas is releasing the MAC Comp would probably be better out of the box. Some prodigys may work great out of the box, but I think the small parts could be better for the price.

@TweakMedia-zr8gm I don't disagree with you. I am giving people options. Most people that buy taurus don't have a huge budget. If it was a carry gun, I would not suggest this.

@brettbuckmaster5128 I can see that being a possibility for some. The higher bore and heavy slide may contribute to that feeling. Also they put a heavier recoil spring than what's needed most the time. You could try a lighter spring to see if it gives a better recoil sensation.

I do share that on one of the videos on my channel. I can not remember right now. I had to do a lot to make this magwell work well. I would probably suggest buying another brand anyway. I think it was anarchy outdoors that makes it.

@@Brian-gj5xm I would say I agree with that. I think the shape of the beavertail is worse than the rib. It's a great gun that needs a little tuning here and there.

@leftyo9589 I don't smoke at all. My kids just got over the flu, and I had some of the symptoms. The nice microphone made it sound much worse.

@hansgruber6381 I have held the dan wesson dwx but never shot it. I would say the dan wesson is a little better put together(but more expensive for optics ready model). I am just guessing. This gun is pretty flat shooting even before ports with the comp. To be honest, even though this gun will be awesome when finished, I would not recommend the prodigy to someone who wants something perfect out of the box.

@ron8566 I would have to look into this problem more to know for sure. I have read about it, but I have not experienced it yet. I will try to look into it further one day. Looks like it only happens on the steel models.

@@bl8zn It does not work great with the stock 15 baseplate. You can shape the baseplates to fit by beveling the edges.

@@p.c.1019 I think the alien is the lowest. The Archon type be design is close, but the alien drops the barrel below the recoil system. Making it crazy low.
