I was in Chicago a few weeks ago for a conference my first time there! It was real nice going on the boat river tour, seeing the buildings and the Sears tower! Also tried out Portillo’s hot dogs and deep dish pizza which were great. Wish I gotten to see the Bean but hopefully next time

I've never really seen snow (and I think my Dad said he hasn't seen it very much), so for Christmas my parents and I are planning on our gifts to each other being a little mini snow trip. We didn't know where we'd go for it, but you guys make Chicago sound fun! I know it gets cold there. If that's where we head, it'll be nice to have these other non-snow things that you guys recommend!

My Chinese Zodiac is the Horse ('02)... But everything I've read is that Horses are supposed to be energetic, athletic, and social... Meanwhile I'm introverted, uncoordinated, and need a nap. My answers to y'all's questions (going backwards so you have wholesome stuff after the spooky stuff). (Sorry this is rather long. 😅) I believe in ghosts, but at the same time I want to find other answers for the stuff that's happening (if that makes any sense). -I work at a library, and there's some WEIRD CRAP that goes on. Stuff falling off of tables that no one is near, drawers open with no one around (most frequently the cash register, which you need a bunch of codes and stuff to open), people hear someone shelving in the Kids room when they're the only ones there, etc. There are two specific occurrences, though. The security camera will show a box around a person it detects. A security guard showed us that a camera had boxed off an empty chair after we had cleared out. I also was there about an hour and a half before we opened (due to car trouble). I kept hearing the elevator beeping like it was changing floors, and carts getting on and off the elevator... But I never heard the doors open, and I was 100% alone. (When I went to Ireland a tour talked about how they had a super haunted library because people could "just feel a presence" and I was like "Should I be concerned that ours is worse?" -My pastor's wife said a couple of her friends in college were messing around with a Ouija Board, and afterwards some weird crap started happening. I don't remember all the details, but I remember she said something about wall crosses getting flipped upside down. -On a more wholesome note, my Mom says when I was little I said I saw an angel. My mom asked where, and apparently my eyes got wide and I shut my mouth quickly; she thinks that the angel did a "shh" gesture. -As far as dreams go, I do believe that dreams have a certain power. There are certain symbols that mean certain things, and those have been proven to show your subconscious. But I've also had some dreams that I swear (especially if you look at the symbolism) are clairvoyant. It's been WILD. -While I had never heard of shifting before this, I may have done it a couple times. I've been to the same amusement park, I've been to several of the same places in my dreams multiple times. I've never been to these places in my real life. (I'm a heavy sleeper, just like MO, so maybe that's a symptom/cause? I don't know...) I have lived in Florida for my entire life... There are no fall activities. XD But I've always loved Thanksgiving... It's my favorite holiday! I also like going to Universal in the fall. -But, as far as Halloween-specific activities, I've always loved the costuming aspect. I like being able to show off some of some of my favorite fandoms/characters (i.e.: Superman, Tinkerbell, Spider-Man, etc.), being able to be creative about the actual creation of the costume (i.e.: Gandalf, Keyleth, Sora (my D&D character), etc.), and/or memes (i.e.: Laundry Basket, Santa, etc.). I really like that my job does a whole "Halloweek" for dress up because I can go nuts. -I also liked pumpkin carving for similar reasons. I was never great with doing it (nor was I a fan of the pumpkin guts) but my Dad and I styled a Tampa Bay Bucs one, a Darth Vader one, and a Spider-Man one. (There were others, but those are the ones that come to mind.) -And as far as horror movies go, KERN I AM WITH YOU. When I was 6 or 7 my parents brought home Coraline from Blockbuster thinking it was a "nice family friendly movie"... Nope. It STILL scares me. More recently, I had to watch Silence of the Lambs for a college film class. My best friend said everytime he walked past me cubicle I just kept getting paler and paler. But for whatever reason I LOVED Nightmare Before Christmas as a kid. We owned it on VHS and I would watch it a lot. I rewatched it recently and was astounded that I had liked it rather than being scared. (Still not scared, I just found it odd.) As far as Halloween memories go, I have a few: -I never had kids in my neighborhood, so I always had to go trick-or-treating with my parents' friends' kids, who were all older than me. Because of this, I think I probably was forced to stop trick-or-treating before I was ready. We tried two other years water they stopped (one where we went to a random ritzy neighborhood, and one where I was kind of a babysitter), but neither of them worked out. -I was very proud of my. Gandalf costume. First of all, it was right before I donated my hair, so my "beard" was really just my hair tied around my chin and dyed grey with that colored hairspray you see around Halloween. Second of all, my candy bucket was a blue pumpkin basket I had secured onto the top of my staff; it was supposed to be the glowy bit. -The family that hosted Halloween for me growing up started doing a haunted house once their kids got a little older. They also ran a Fantasy Football League among the adults. One time my Dad went through, and the last scare of the house was the guy he was playing in fantasy football that week, so the guy screamed "YOU'RE GONNA LOSE IN FANTASY!" as the final scare for my Dad. Plot twist: my dad ended up winning... Big time. -The house next door to that family always decorated their house really scarily. I never wanted to go. One year someone dared me to go. The guy was actually super nice. I ended up working with his daughter later, and she told me he purposefully made his house as scary as possible to scare away kids, so that he'd have more candy to himself. It certainly worked... -When I was about 2, my aunt threw a Halloween party at her house. There was an empty storage bin that I tried to climb onto. It flipped over and I cracked my chin open. Someone there super-glued my chin closed so I could go get stitches. The doctors said it was brilliant. -Florida is warm most Halloweens... Except for the year I was Tinkerbell; it was in the 40s or 50s, and I was supposed to be wearing a sleeveless dress with a miniskirt. We put on some layers underneath it but, geez! -I was Santa the year I was babysit-trick-or-treating, and that was about the best decision I could've made; the kids' reactions were hysterical. They were very confused about why Santa was here on Halloween, and that Santa was a girl.

I hope this isn't offensive, but I was so surprised to hear MO say grew up Mormon. I remember hearing him talking about his religion growing up in other videos and I always thought it sounded like Catholicism. I think he might be the first person I've heard of who was of that faith but not originally from the greater Utah area. (I knew they existed elsewhere, of course, I'd just never come across one in-person or in the media.) I grew up (and still am) a Lutheran-Christian. I feel like within Christianity there's different levels, and most of the time denomination isn't really a factor. My mom's mom (also a Lutheran wouldn't let my mom do watch Scooby-Doo, do Halloween, or anything like that because it was "the devil". My dad's parents weren't religious. I was always allowed to do Halloween though. I think it's kinda funny, though, cuz the same grandma that was so vehemently opposed to my mom doing Halloween helped sew some of my Halloween costumes. I went to Ireland and, according to our tour guide, St. Patrick kind of started Halloween and Christmas as it is now. He purposefully positioned All Saints Day near Hallow's Eve, and Christmas next to Yule, (I wanna say Easter had something, too, but I could be wrong) and (to try and make converting to Christianity more appealing) he let the pagans bring some of their traditions to these Christian holidays. Because of this (once again, no offense to anyone) I find it kinda funny that a lot of the religious families that are vehemently opposed to Halloween are some of the same people aggressively celebrating Christmas... If you aren't associating with pagan holidays Christmas would basically just be a church service.

I'm not a BIG fan of corn actually to be honest I hate corn's taste defienitily a raw corn is not my thing, but I like grilled BBQ with a butter and salt corn, I like popcorns and if corn tastes nice on some warm food I would be ready to try it defienitily there where you were in the "World's LARGEST" Corn maze! I've said this a million times before, and I'll keep saying it until it happens. If I ever visit a Pokémon Center, especially one that's close to my part of Canada, I would be SOOOO overwhelmed! Honestly, my money would be spent on nothing but plushies of my favorite Starter Pokémon, and some of my other favorite Pokémon if I have enough money. Worth it, though; hell yeah, it'd be totally worth it!
