My girlfriend and best friend in my world had a cardiac arrest next to me, she was in a medically induced coma for 2 weeks. I was absolutely terrified that I was going to be forgotten about. I spent three months with her in hospital. She knew just who I was and what I meant to her. The nurses all just smiled and told me she was forever imprinted on me. Didn’t know her dad or stepmom but knew my full name. Pissed them the hell off but this is what I got to experience. You’ll never feel more special than that.

I have a friend named Aimee. I’ve known her since the last day of third grade. One day while we were standing on a NYC subway platform, someone stopped her and said “have you ever considered modeling?” She looked at him and said “Only if SHE can be my photographer” and she pointed and looked at me. Aimee lives on the other side of the country now. I miss her.💜 I also knew a lady who would always tell me, “you just need the right person to see your work”. She has since passed on. Thank you Diane 💜 Art school is vicious. You will LITERALLY lose “friends” if they see you have potential they deem threatening. So that was jarring…. Just one reason I left. Now decades later, I’m just NOT SURROUNDED BY ART OR ARTISTS hence me reaching out from my channel. I’m reaching a level in my existence where I’m kinda in some take me out to pasture mindset -or better yet, Midsommar, the movie where they just take the “old people” and just push them off a cliff! Yeah, I’m reaching dangerous levels of pondering my existence. I’ve never in my life felt so isolated for so long. I have a history of depression so I’m just trying to hang in there for my kids…but ya know. Hanging around for my kids seems like it will have a limit also…when they don’t need me anymore. It’s just getting too scary for me to stay quiet. I desperately need to find “my people”, my tribe. I just think my children deserve the best version of me but dear lord…most of my support is in Spirit or memory it seems. Everyone is gone…but I need to hear them now❤️‍🩹
