This spot kind of came together in the editing, again. Ultimately the voiceover I had was a little cheesier/slicker than I'd originally anticipated, so I played into it. I laid down a piece of music that hints at a little film noir, which made the cheesy voiceover delivery sound a bit like an old time private investigator. I then incorporated the element of the lonely road we shot into all the ...
Bridal Mart - Fall Sale

This is the second spot I put together for Bridal Mart involving both Adobe After Effects and Apple Motion. The client suggested the imagery of falling stars to highlight their Fall Sale, so I took the two "stars" of the spot to a surreal, construction paper world where stars fall like snowflakes.

her voice is magic
Editing is fine, that other dude needs a life. Thanks for sharing
I still get mad they canceled this show after one season and it's been over 20 years lol
My favorite episode.
We need the 90s back
When Angela's mother asked her how she died...my chest still gets tight.
Same. I cried because she sounded so sad!
i wonder if this gave them the idea to make the movie "6th sense"
This was my absolute favorite episode.
This episode was so beautiful. When Angela's mom asked her how she died and she said she froze. I seriously teared up!
Would anyone tell me (who was around during the fashion of these times) what brand are angela's green combat boots?
She reminded me of myself...I remember failing and skipping school... not wanting to be there back in the 1980s ...after i turned 18 on my own i used to go back to my old school just to walk around...i wanted to go back.
❤❤❤❤❤
This was SUCHa SWEET LITTLE SITCOM ... Too bad the "powers that be" canceled it ~~
Love the church/ending scene to this episode. The best episode
Angelas mom is just MEAN following this scene. ""Mom, can she eat dinner with us? She’s an amazing singer"" NO.
I always watch this episode during the Christmas season..never fails to bring a tear to my eyes
Claire Danes' performance in this show is remarkable. The smile she gives Juliana Hatfield - her acting ability exceeds her young teenage years. She embodies the melancholy, of adolescence and captures so well its varying emotions.
i have to see it all now, somehow. i'm on a quest to absorb as much juliana into my consciousness as possible.
The “wing flutter & feather” in the ending scene always did it for me….a classic with so much meaning…
Absolutely still emotional to see again takes me right back.
Sister Mary when I was in New York City had me get on the bus to see an expensive stores window dressing with white tree and white lights about 12 years ago in lower Manhattan on Christmas Eve she was trying to make me happy. She also found me boots across from byrne dairy around the Seneca Lake area. Converse high top thank you.
The opposite of love is indifference
Great show. This episode made me cry.❤️
The best show
thats emma the lunch line worker from the adventures of pete and pete!
I’m so glad someone else recognized this!!! Love
Grunge/(Soundgarden) and My so called life, yep that was it for me. 1994- 14 years old.
December 2019, this is one of my Christmas movies i still watch on Dvd!! Love this!!!
This still makes me cry!
Same here watching this like now in 2021. Great to see.
Angel or a Fallen Angel ? 🤔
I always cry at the end of this episode
one of the best episodes of any show of all time
Angela's mother, seeing her in the snowy street, outside of church...... "How did you die?" Juliana: "I froze to death"
That scene is so heartfelt!! First time I saw it, I bawled like a baby. I love this show so much!
very very very special episode of my all time favorite show i will never forget watching this episode when it first came out.this is the only show to capture in my opinion one of the best times to be a part of im 38 now i will always feel like the time i grew up in was very amazing and special
Same, im 43 now and this episode is still sooo powerful. When she tells Angela, "I've been looking out for him." My God such an amazing episode
I'm 52 and love this show
39 and absolutely agree with everything you said.
@@yeahno8294 40 and yes yes yes to everything above 😭😭😭 the 80s and 90s just hit different 💜
I'm sorry but it's true
This episode is so beautiful, and so sad. I usually cry during about 90% of it.
This episode broke my heart.
Thank You for posting this beautiful scene. This show is unlike any other. So Classic. Jordan n Angela. <3
juliana was a ghost. :O that was such a good show.
Every time this clip gets a like or share it makes me happy. :) Glad you enjoyed it. If you haven't read "When I Grow Up," her memoir, I highly encourage you to. :)
Kit Kohler Ive only read half of it. I dont know why i dont finish. i saw Juliana H. 3 twice on this new tour. Ive seen Some Girls, Juliana and Blake Babies an infinate amount of times. when i was young and dumb and Juliana was in the blake babies I gave her roses. first time was cool second time i felt stupid. i looked for that in her book. i will never forget the first time i saw blake babies. they opened for Lemonheads. I was in love at first sight.
She was an angel. She spread her wings at the end and flew away. 😁
I was deeply in love with Claire Danes for most/all of my adolescence.
I liked her wild friend !
Jared Leto, 😋 who is 48 today.
Get this, Claire and Juliana were both near the top of my list. Like top 3 maybe (I had a crush on Gwyneth Paltrow too). What are the chances the two would be in an episode of MSCL together? 🤍🖤
We never know how many angels are really among us! We have to read their signs.
Best. Show. Ever. I saw Juliana Hatfield maybe a year ago, and I'm still in love with her.
Whatever became of Juliana Hatfield? Great talent.
Alive and well in Boston ... ruclips.net/video/fXpDAS9CsH0/видео.html
She has a new record called "Blood". It's her NINETEEN STUDIO ALBUM! It's decent. Then again, I'm biased. I love everything she does. She won me over 30 years ago
I still tear up watching this episode...I felt so bad for Rickie..
It's on the MSCL soundtrack
Where can we find it
I will correct for all. She was an angel who died because she froze because she ran away from home and was homless in the winter.
@BillyLeeGoodman 4 months ago, I commented ❤❤❤❤ @BillyLeeGoodman My So-Called Life 1994 Married someone I didn't love. To be FREE.. The 1st time I saw this episode. It wasn't a cry for me. It was Strength. Spent money, I didn't have. Took my Dog (Zeppelin) and left. Parked my car at Kmart and paid for a ride at Hampton. Zeppelin knew the routine. He knew to be quiet. Zeppelin and I survived survived. @BillyLeeGoodman I listen and share this RUclips video every year. @BillyLeeGoodman All my Heart. I hope you will comment "Hi"
And she was Ricky's guardian angel looking after him after he was beat up and thrown out of his cousins house.
I wish there was a cut of this song like for a soundtrack... doe sit havve a name?
the song is "make it home" there's a soundtrack. Amazon I'm sure has it. Also I may be 5 years too late.
The Mark Craig 😂😂😂
If you cant see she is "homeless" you have your eyes closed! I love tihs song and this episode gave me chills when i first saw it. Thanks for the post!
Mabel Incarnate.
I have never forgotten this episode. So wonderful.
Bless you
there's also one in Port Richey, Florida
Does anyone which version of Home for the Holidays this is? It's just wonderful!
It seems like the Juliana character is saying, "Sorry I exist."
For The Record- she played a girl who was like angela had a good life and then one day had a fight with her mom one day where it really hurt her and ran away. She was homeless for awhile and then froze to death she came back into angela's ricky's and patty's ( angela's mom) life as a gaurdian angel. making them realize that family is really all we got in this world and fights should not break us apart.
