Is your slide sluggish when it could be lightning fast? If your slide isn't aligned perfectly, it could negatively affect your playing.

Cleaning the Slide with Wright's Brass Polish
How often should this be done?
Hii how do I book and appointment?
Anyone try KY ,no joke it beats any Superslick, snake oil etc ....
Since I have a silver trombone, can I use Silver polish instead of brass polish?
Found this 3:30 am, when I couldn't sleep. Watched it twice, then got up and proceeded with my own slide. Amazing results! Apparently, I've been using Superslick rather ineffectively..... for decades. I'll be following this process from here on out. Thanks, Slide Doctor!!
I too have just stumbled upon this video! I too have been cleaning/lubricating my slides entirely wrong for 60 years! Thank you, very much kind sir, for making this video!
Great job guys, thank you !!
“Chalky White” was the name of a gangster in Harlem when Al Kapone was a young man. 😊
Poor guy is fidgeting a lot, rolling his thumbs.
Hu hu… polishing the bone !!
I'm based in europe and find it impossible to get my hands on wrights brass polish, is wrights copper cream a good substitute?
i hope he services his wife as good as his trombone.
In the 1950 era we used water with a tiny bit of Pond's cold cream and it was a wonderful slide lube. Sadly Pond's is no longer the same product. Are you aware of what was in that Cold cream that made such a wonderful lube? I liked it better than any of the modern, usually expensive stuff.
If it works, it's probably been made illegal. Especially in California.
I think it was lanolin.
what b/s! what's with the blue uniform? as u an escaped inmate?
Polyzenidas What?
its a doctors scrub, bc he is a slide doctor
Hi, please can you write the name of two different products than you use to lubricate the slide ? I'm playing one 4B King and I couldn't make my slide work well, even using slide o mix, trombotine or Yamaha slide oil... Tanks a lot
It's SuperSlick 2-part slide lubricant
Mário Nogueira, I use the Yamaha trombone slide lubricant
Currently waiting for my slide, the hype is real
Cream, wipe, plus, water. Swab, repeat. Right?
Can you use wrights on a light weight slide or just a brass slide?
Do you use this instead of the Wright Brass polish, or after?
+JohnMichael23inSD I *think* it's after. He referred to having done the Wright's before this.
Thanks, I bought the polish set and the instructions so say use the brass polish first.
+JohnMichael23inSD I just ordered the Wright's brass polish and the other products. Can't wait to try it out on my older trombones. How did it work for you?
I like the Wrights, but actually prefer Pine-Ola. It is thicker and also water-based. Either way, the Slide Dr. kit is great! Takes my slides from a 9 (after brass polish) to an 11!!
Can You Do It Without the +1 Treatment
This was just the video I was hoping to find! Thank You sir very easy to follow and informative.
Superslick also makes your skin really soft and lovely. They could flog it as high end moisturiser and no one would bat an eyelid.
Dave Foster Hmmm. I'll try that. Lmao
What lubricants are you using and where can I purchase them? Thanks!
SuperSlick 2-part slide lubricant
If you looked up Slide perfection in the dictionary, there would be a picture these guys and MY Slide.Only God could have done a better job.
That’s true, but God doesn’t played trombone, he’s a drummer !! (that’s a little play on words from the Buddy Rich joke).
