Get off Torren and just keep swing your weapon, you'll never fall down the clip for just spamming normal attack, so you can detect the egde of the cliff. i mean there is a lot of ash of war and spells help you in this situation; of course you can just turn on the network connection to follow the blood stain, and become the blood stain to help another people.

He is at the beginning after you fight that “boss” that is supposed to kill you. You can drop down and go through a mini “tutorial” area and he is at the end. At least I’m pretty sure that is where you go I could be miss remembering
(if this is a genuine question, here is the answer) The soldier of godrick side boss can be found at the end of the cave of knowledge, which is found when you wake up in the stranded graveyard after being killed by the grafted scion, it is a hole on the right side of the graveyard and you just jump down.
