Started singing Latín music since I was 15 years old, standards and covers. The bands I worked with were hired for private events and hotels in Puerto Rico. As a result I was able to sing background vocals for various Latin artists at concerts and recordings.
Comencé a cantar desde los 15 años de edad, musica latina, americana todo tipo de covers. Trabajo para bandas para eventos privados así también hoteles en Puerto Rico y Estados Unidos. Trabaje para Gloria y Emilio Estefan en el reconocido y ya desaparecido Bongo’s Cuban Cafe como banda de la casa. He tenido la oportunidad de cantar con grandes artistas de la música latina en presentaciones tales como conciertos y también grabaciones. Artistas de la talla de Milly Quezada, Melina Leon, Gisselle, Cheo Feliciano, José Alberto el canario, Domingo Quiñones, Luis Enrique, Víctor Manuel, Gilberto Santarosa, Ng2, Manny Manuel, Ismael Miranda, Tito Nieves, Charlie Cruz, Frankie Negron entre otros.

I love , admire, and soooo respect Steve Perry and his gift from God voice that will NEVER be replaced no matter who tries......but I have always given Arnel credit for being the "one" that has come close to sounding like Steve BUT right now Arnel sounds like he truly needs a rest......he needs to slow down and take it.....if he isn't already beyond repair. He has pushed himself so damn hard to fill shoes that cannot be. His voice is ( or was) quite powerful and unique...but hearing him sound like this is heartbreaking.
