I used to be a ranger at Rocky Mountain National Park. I used this song in my evening slide program. I don't know if the visitors felt joy hearing this melody, but I did. It made my heart soar.

When I put my message in the previous comment, I was watching a clip from the Wild Life Concert. Somehow my comment came onto this clip. This is a great clip of John Denver too. He is my all time favorite artist!

He came to AK every year to write his songs and stayed with this one couple. It was only income. He spent time in the wilderness and many songs not about Colorado but AK beauty. He loved Colorado and AK.

John here as always is very articulate, he excels at the written word. That’s why he was such a great songwriter. The words just pour out of him. Greatest singer songwriter EVER!❤️🎼🦅🏔️

I attended this concert which John Denver had done gor the Wiodlife Conservation Society. John, Denver and his band were phenomenal. So was the lady singing with John. If I remember correctly, her name is Pat Harp. It was filmed in a small Sony studio
