Congrats on the wedding!! And on the incredible reading roll you’ve been on! I really need to try some Robert Jackson Bennett books, love seeing some hype for his new book. Man Bridge to Terabithia was a special read for me as a kid-so cool that you’ll do it with your students. Yesssss to Morning Star!! Right with you on no weak book in the trilogy!!! I tried to read A Wrinkle in Time so many times as a kid/teenager. It never held my attention. Great wrap up and congrats on getting married!

I appreciate your sharing regarding this work. Audible was having a sale, and in my search for feedback, I found myself here. Thank you for taking the time to point out the difference between 1) not finding favor with the source itself versus 2) appreciation for the source material and message but having issues with the execution. I have been reading sci-fi and fantasy since the eighties. I have found the quality, proses, have, generally speaking...solely from my experience, have significantly diminished. Also, there is even more of a distinction between soft and hard areas in both fantasy and sci-fi arenas. This appears to carry with it some interesting trends. The "hard" tends to have verbose presentations or ideas that are stellar while literary ingenuity greatly lacks. Where in the "soft" forms colloquial expressions are paired with (again, my experience) unsophisticated explorations of universal themes. Look forward to future videos.
