It was something that Deathlok inspired him. Since I happen to have action figures of the Toy Biz Deathlok and a Galoob Biker Mice from Mars Modo, sorta on display in my home office. But it was another well-built informal video.

Are you Canadian? If so you're the same as the characters in the show, my ears might be deceiving me, tho. But this is the funniest/best review I've ever seen 😂😂😂 Edit - i should have waited til the end before I commented LOL. P.S. i love all versions of Beetlejuice but the cartoon is my favorite. The musical is also great and is a nice blend of the cartoon and movie imo (plus more)

I wished the Addams Family from the 90s is finally release onto a complete DVD collection just like Beetlejuice.

Loved seeing the evolution & legacy of this character. I also caught that subtle hint that Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman may have featured a coy Easter Egg of Apache Chief. But I’m not sure that was intentional nor a direct reference. Wouldn’t it be cool tho if DC gave us a film project featuring these classic international SuperFriends heroes: Apache Chief, Vixen, Samurai, & Gypsy? 🤔 It could also include glimpses of a couple of top tier characters as we’re introduced to these sideline heroes.

I remember watching this episode, especially the scene where Plastic Man reaches in to get the mouse. Not that I realized this was Plas' first appearance in a cartoon. I loved the revival of Plas' comic series in the 70s, issues 11 - 20, with Ramona Fradon doing the artwork Fun stuff! It bothers me that Plas has been turned into such a humorous character in later versions, though. In the original series, and even in the 70s run, there may have been humorous situations, but Plastic Man himself was played as the serious straight man. His sidekick Woozie Winks provided "comic relief". I also liked Elongated Man, because they played up his detective abilities more than his stretching abilities. I think EM was done wrong when they replaced him for Plastic Man in the Justice League. Occasionally, we got to see EM and Plas together, but not very often. I'd like to see more of that.

I don't remember watching this. If it came out in 1979, I would have been 13 or 14 and was building my comic collection, including The Super Friends comic book. I was sure that Gleek was going to jump in and save the day! You also missed the occasional Super-Batman or composite characters of Superman and Batman combined, done a few times in the Silver Age, usually in World's Finest comics. Wonder Woman wasn't a part of that, unfortunately.

I guess if Monkey did go after the villains earlier in the cartoon, there might not have been that much of it.

That was a great recap, reaction and review and video essay on that episode. I have to admit I haven’t seen this episode. I have a few of the various Superfriends sets on DVD, but not that this one. But now, I want it.

I love this cartoon series. The 90's had the best Saturday cartoons! I just wish WB would bring out region 2 dvds for the European Market. The dvds are only available in Region 1 which is the US. I'd love someone putting the cartoon out on YT in its entirety but...WB will probably stop the channels.

I remember watching this version of Hercules every day in syndication. I even sat through the dumb 700 Club to wait for this. Good cartoon, rough afternoon.

I never saw this since 1968, when I was 7 years old!

I laughed at remembering that Stallone felt like he had to grow his hair longer for Rambo 3 "so it could match the cartoon." Fun to learn that Morrel started his book in 68 when another famous Vietnam veteran The Executioner started 45 years of paperbacks in 1969. (1 wrote some for about 15 years. )
