Sonic Reassembles A Projector
Просмотров 47Год назад
This is a 3M MP8610 LCD Projector From 1999. This is probably the only video on RUclips featuring this projector. But anywho I got this projector for very, very cheap (1450 CZK or around $45 for those Americans) and I decided to fix it up and it only needed a good overhaul and cleaning, but the service manual said I have to take the whole projector apart. So I decided to reassemble it on camera...

wheres the voice thats saying "stall"
🚨 Air raid siren!!
1:42 Holy cow, that motor seems inefficient, but I'm guessing that's cuz it spins really fast, if not, idk how the manufacturers managed to make it take up that many volts without burning the motor out.
You know, the power grid we have in the european union is split over three phases. By the time the voltage gets to your house it’s either 380V or 400V. The fan has a high power 3-phase induction motor. Most high power induction motor over here are ran from a high voltage 3-phase power supply because is much more efficient than standard sigle phase power at 230V. Just do your homework about induction motors. BTW, the motor spins at approx. 750-850 RPM. Most 3-phase induction motors spin at that kind of RPM.
Aargh! Tried to watch but the person making this couldn’t keep the camera still. Nobody going to learn anything from this goon.
I believe this stall alarm was only heard in fine air 101’s cvr
Why the fuck didn't you showed how you disassemble it
How do you clean it? Products?
How to remove the drop sensors?
Your collection is pretty crazy, friend, I never thought I would want to collect car radiator fans, But to be honest, I'm more interested in industrial exhaust fans and some decorative ceiling fans, they are very interesting to me
I have these radiator fans because I got a very good deal on them, and since they were brand new, I couldn’t resist. They are also extremely powerful and also a bit terrifying.
That 40mm arctic looks like a clone of the nmb-mat
The Buzzer is actually from the MD-80, AviationMD uploaded a 1 hour video of the stall alarm on Infinite Flight and this buzzer played.
I believe the buzzer was carried over to the DC-10 and as a result, the MD-80 as well. The difference on the newer planes being the actual “stall all “voice.
I have one in my collection
Very nice collection
Thx

Hello Sonic! Kenneth here. Not sure where I could contact you, so I’m writing through here. I’ve got a pair of Bowers & Wilkins px5. They’re very important to me. A few days ago, the right ear stopped working and I’m not sure how to fix them. I’m sure it’s something to do with the contact because when I punch them the sound returns for a second. Sometimes more. I have no guarantee anymore, so was wondering if you have any idea on what to do. (I’m trying everything haha)
Keep up the vids. Your acumen for electronics/electrics is impressive. Nice job, sonic.
Classic Stick shaker. It’s a sound of serious danger and yet it’s music to my ears
Hi Sonic, this Vacuumrobot was not designed by Silvercrest, its just a relabeled iLife A7 Robot, they just altered the upper hull a little and modified the app design. That applies to many other Silvercrest Products.
U should start by saying what's wrong with it.
MACH 789??
SLAT OVERSPEED!
...send me the knobs
Please, stop spamming these comments with utter nonsense like: ,,0,5 speed sounds like an engine''. It's really getting out of hand, and it's starting to get on my nerves.
Just turn off the comments tbh so it can stop
Yeah I should many comments
Kid you have a great inquisitive mind, you have an amazing future. However, you need someone who understands video editing to help you out. Too much unnecessary information. Nevertheless, you have a bright future in electronics.

I was interested in the opening what you didnt show. The video has been running for five minutes and you're still making faces. You jerk the camera and dance like an idiot. the guide is worthless like that...
Mine this fan stopping after 1 minute of operation, I've connected only 2 wires, black & red to power supply, input power 11.9V, Kindly suggest what can be done to make it continuously running Thanks in advance
I think you fan is faulty, becase I’m powering it from a server power supply which puts out approx. 11,5V. I don’t have any more ideas as to what could be wrong.
@@Sonic_The_Electronic_Madlad thanks for suggestion, I also think so, do other 2 wires also have any relation, what if I connect other 2 wires to eachother
can you try cpu cooling with this, like, this one has 202 cfm, should keep any cpu chill
I would like to try, but I don't have a PC tower or a desktop, I have a laptop and an HP server, which is full of these fans.
0.25x Me slowly getting sucked Into a jet engine
Nao entendi nada
Also can you make a line of fans
Ah yes. The jet engine sounds
At in the numbers next to 1x is a engine
This alarm was also used in the Douglas DC-8
jesus christ your camerawork is nauseating
The rubber connector is actually not the cathode, thats the anode the positive terminal
Haha, my teacher was actually wrong! (I thought so).
@@Sonic_The_Electronic_Madlad Scope CRTs mostly dont have an anode connector and have them at the back with the other connectors when the voltage was under 3kV. I think the wires that go in the middle of the crt are the deflection plates, or possibly it could also be the trace rotation, tho in most crts i have seen that closer to the front.
"Tunnel diode" I see someone has been watching diodegonewilds scope repair huh?
Well, looking back into the schematics and spending approx. 3,5 hours studying it turns out that those gold plated diodes indeed are tunnel diodes. These ones seem to be the reliable ones, I remember when my dad told me that back when the Czech Republic (the place I live) was in socialism, these diodes (as i the diodegonewild's one) were a piece of crap.
@@Sonic_The_Electronic_Madlad Not all the stuff in the eastern bloc was garbage, most of the consumer grade stuff wasnt as good as it could be, but stuff like engineering equipment was built very well. Compared to what we now have the Eastern Bloc stuff, despite crudely made, is still more reliable and dependable than the cheap stuff from china. A friend told me that the czechoslovak engineers at TESLA had many ideas and innovations, but there was not enough funds to put them into high volume production, so they had to stick to simple cheap to make components / electronics production, but made them easier to service.
@@janno288engineers are always constrained by accounting and finance.
[I was wrong, it is] This is not beyrillium oxide, beyrillium oxide has a purple colour, beyrillium oxide is used as a high voltage insulator, especially in the field of high power RF, in this case its just ceramic, the voltages are tiny compared to where beyrillium would be a requirement, even microwave magnetrons (which most please say they contain beyrillium) most likly dont, except high power magnetrons where it is a requirement. It doesnt make sense to use an overkill substance for a simple job that simple alumium oxide could do.
Well, have a look here: www.google.com/search?q=what+colour+is+beryllium+oxide&oq=&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqCQgAECMYJxjqAjIJCAAQIxgnGOoCMgkIARAjGCcY6gIyCQgCECMYJxjqAjIJCAMQIxgnGOoCMgkIBBAjGCcY6gIyCQgFECMYJxjqAjIJCAYQIxgnGOoCMgkIBxAjGCcY6gLSAQkxMDQwajBqMTWoAgiwAgE&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 In here though, it's used as a thermal conductor to cool those devices down.
@@Sonic_The_Electronic_Madlad Tektronix made extensive use of standard ceramics, even their scopes crts were made out of ceramic (yours probably too), they had a whole ceramic division, i bet that this is standard ceramic instead of beyrillium since it makes no sense to use this in this application. And sorry i confused beyrillium and beyrillium oxide. But still thats standard ceramic.
@@Sonic_The_Electronic_MadladMy comment keeps getting deleted because i provide links (sources) those likly are beyrillium, at least in the 453 i am going through the 453A parts list to see if they are Edit: Part List item: 214-0317-00 same part as in the 453 oscilloscope, says its beyrillium oxide. The true way of knowing is removing it and weighing it with the known density of beyrillium oxide. Maybe it is maybe it isnt, simply respect it and it wont hurt you
@janno288 OK, thanks for info!
The German means "In this device generated Xrays are sufficienctly shielded" "Acceleration voltage of the CRT maximum = 4kV"
The CRTs in oscilloscopes use 10kV at maximum but still correct. I have the same scope funnily enough! The A has slighly higher ratings and is fully transistorised (except the crt obviously), so sadly no nuvistors inside.
There are oscilloscope CRTs using up to 24kV, though it is not common.
Wow a Texas Instruments Transistor I didn't know they made them .
