Ever use the 12v plug wires after the controller install? I have a sport with no rear plugs or power windows. I was thinking of using the 2 wires from the 12v plug in the front for plugs in the rear of the center console.

Replaced the oil cooler this past March on my 2013 Sport JK, 2 weeks later had to replace the oil cooler on my wifes 2015 Rubicon Jk. Used the upgraded Doorman aluminum cooler and filter housing on both jeeps. Yesterday noticed the 2013 using a lot of oil, no blue smoke, no obvious leaks but puddled oil in the exhaust tips!! never a dull moment with Chrysler/Fiat products!!

Mine leaks everything it rains. It positioned corrected so I don't know what else to do

I used the rock jock tow bar base plate with my rubicon steel bumper. I have the same warn winch with a rough country mounting plate, and it all bolted up nicely together. The rock jock tucks up tight rather than having something that looks like a snow plow mount

That does it, I'll just custom build my own setup.

Hello. What are the spec's for the 2 sensors? I bought the Doorman but without them, and I would prefer not to deal with reusing any of that stuff. Thank you.

The Dorman heats the engine temp by up to 4 degrees being all aluminum. Also the updated Mopar unit has a new seal design on the cooler to housing surface and the Dorman uses the older "figure 8" seal design. Best option is the new OEM Mopar unit or just seals

This video was great! Made it a lot easier. I had to take off a ground wire bolt but otherwise everything matched. One of my pin rods didn't really want to spin. Not sure if that is an issue.

When you say that bumper is from a Rubicon, does it have to be a Gladiator Rubicon or will a Wrangler Rubicon fit the Gladiator also?

Spray the lines with penetrating oil, or spray grease, the clips have to to be pulled all the way out or it won’t come off.

What I haven’t seen explained is exactly HOW you know it’s bad. For example, I caught my torn boot right after it happened (lucky). In theory, I COULD just replace the boot, repack with grease, and put it back on, right? Any insights?

Ok. Cool. I’m at Carmax right now getting mine done on a 2015 Chrysler 200c 3.6 and since it’s with in the 90 days since I bought it, it’s being replaced for no money. So I’m hoping it’ll last awhile

I have a 2013 Jeep wrangler Sahara that is leaking antifreeze and it is coming from oil cooler housing. I had the oil cooler housing replaced about a year ago. Are the aluminum better than the hard plastic?

I wonder if an access hole could be made, under the seat and carpet? I did that on a Dodge Durango, and I had the pump out , with a full tank, in 20 minutes. Not lying.

Did you use an adjustable track bar for the front and rear after the lift? If not, why not or did it make any difference on the way it performs?

Change your oil on this plastic housing when the engine is cold. Plastic softens when hot the base will deform eventually by just removing the filter cap to change the filter.

Unfortunately, I need to fix my 2019 JL with 62,251 miles with the same oil leak coming from the housing on top. I ordered the Doorman to replace the plastic OEM. Any tips of the trade before I change it out? Thanks..

Big thing I don't believe you guys mentioned, before you put in the new gasket and put everything back together, you HAVE to thoroughly clean the bottom edge of the valve cover, and the mating surface on the cylinder head. You want smooth, clean surfaces before the new gasket goes in. If you skip the cleaning, and leave a ridge of baked oil on your mating surfaces, odds are pretty steep that you're going to do this job again.

What are the torque specs for putting the Aluminum Housing together?

We use ransoto coolers comes complete just bolt in and go . Only have to change pressure switch on some models due to a very similar plug but has one extra notch in plug . Maybe try ransoto coolers and give us a review of what you think on those would love to hear your feedback.

Buy the Mishimoto replacement which includes the cooler and the two sensors. Not including a set of sensors or a set of gaskets is nonsense.

The fact that this hasn't been a recall is ridiculous. I bought a 2014 GC and within 2 weeks of owning it I already have to chage one.

I'd like that on my truck, I just wouldn't want to be the one doing the cutting.

That wiring harness at the rear is a royal bitch since it prevents the valve cover removal. At 5:55 you omitted how you completely removed the plastic harness cover which is difficult to reach and also taped into the large main harness. That would have been valuable to see as it is the most difficult part of the entire job.
