I've noticed a trend of some people comparing shows and movies especially with DC stuff and I think it's kind of dumb and unfair because one is basically an extended version of the other. The Penguin is an expansion of The Batman and The Batman itself is a good movie because it focuses on Batman for once instead of sidelining him. It's the best "BATMAN" movie we've gotten imo and a good litmus test for people who actually care more about Batman the character or for his character dynamics (villains/side character relationships).
