This is the PERFECT RUclips video
LOL wowzers, thank you 😍
why is this so dirty fornoreason
Dirty?? How so lol
@@FieldsandFireCostroke and coat? Get it, like….
Bahahaha! I love it! So funny!
On the one hand, i like that you didnt give up - the cost of the resources alone demand a more prudent approach, so well done......but this particular vase is a no for me - it looks very unfinished, the ghost of the flowers where the pink underglaze was is almost glaring. Pottery is kind of a cruel mistress in this regard: you really need to hone the skill how to let go fast of things and when to preservere
That's totally valid! If I were to do it again I would use pink stroke and Coat or something. Or get access to a lower cone firing. Always appreciate some kind and constructive criticism ❤️
Store bought glazes like Coyote and Laguna do extensive tests already, so individuals don’t really need to do much more. Glaze testing is MUCH more important if you’re developing your own glazes.
True. Even i probably wouldn't be so flippant with home brewed glazes lol
This feels like a very niche topic of RUclips and I don't understand how I ended up here
Neither do I, but I am oddly entranced by the pottery...
Lmao welcome to potterytube
love it its perfect 😂
I love it 😂
I have a dirty mind and I did not think boob once throughout the video until you mentioned it so it passes the test
lol huge upgrade from the first one. Good job.
Thank you! As long as I'm generally moving in the right direction, im happy lol
Lol you are so under rated
Not me printing this out and hanging it on my mirror
Does the peacock technique need to be done with cone 5/6 glazes or can it be done with cone 10 as well?
I think that as long as you have a consistent flux glaze to cause the dripping that this would be successful at any cone!
i was thinking the ‘giraffe mode’ was more acorn-y
Hah! Comically enough that's what I was originally going for so I'll take it
You might put the bird house in a shady area since the top is pretty dark it might get really hot inside in the sun
Oh that's a great point! Thank you. I moved it into the shade :)
I feel like we need a way to make it small for us in the itiy-bitty titty size
Lol so true - im a little old to be stuffing my bra
The tweed bumps are the rayon/viscose.
Ahh that makes sense!
Your roommate and I thought the same thing ... and normally my mind doesn't "go there" so.... I think its a combination of color AND shape....LOL enjoy the day- :)
Yep, I've now learned that blush pink is not for bulbous forms! Oops haha
Absolutely love the bowl at the end! thanks for sharing
Thank you! Yah that guy was a labor of love. Thanks for watching ❤️
If it’s that long on you, I would definitely need a petite version 😂 but the coverage looks great!
Lol yah it's be dragging the floor on you for sure 😂
Love the Ivy and amerylis, gonna try it out right away! I Will have it in my next kilnload! I am also on RUclips of you wanne watch❤
Thanks for watching, yes id love to see what you do with it!
@@FieldsandFireCo mine turned out green and pink! But still nice! I will make a picture tomorrow!
Love it!
Great job!
Thank you!
Wow!! Beautiful work.
Thanks :)
A birdhouse with a roof shaped like a sunhat. I only say that cause I made one that turned out so cute.
Haha! This is actually exactly right :)
@@FieldsandFireCoEveryone said mine looked like smokey the bear till I put cute sculpted flowers on it and a hole for the birds. It was supposed to be the top of a totem but now I'm thinking it will be cuter hanging like your's. I'll have to find a way to hang it.
Thank you for sharing❤
💕
Sorry about your mom, Very nice kiln load the card holders I have seen them as soap dishes too
Thank you. That's a good idea! Might give that a try next.
Gorgeous!!
You are so good at this! 😊❤️
You are so good at this ❤️
Oh wow it came out so pretty! 😲💕
Thank you! 😊
I love the idea of attaching a small sample of dyed fiber to you jug.
Yah it's been super helpful for me, but does take some time (and yarn lol)
Me tooooo!!
I am loving the new glazes and engobes!!
What's your favorite??
You also bisque fired it. I think this is a great way of pricing relatively the same sized pieces. Not great for bigger pieces though. B
Agreed, larger and/or more decorative pieces with long detail time get trickier
I need to do this soooo badly!!
I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a resin printer. Very cool.
It’s always this way or the other way around. What may I ask are the little bottles you have in front of the window?
Those are paints for painting miniatures haha. I play D&D so i paint my own minis
What a stunning result! It reminds me of the sea in a storm.
Omg this is EXACTLY what i was going for thank you 🌊❤️

Oooo! The outcome is super cool! I did ceramics in high school but never tried doing anything like that. I kinda want to start up again though!
Aw thank you! Yah i was really happy with it :) you should! Ceramics is a really rewarding hobby
Hahaha. The color of the first pots caught me off guard as well. Lol. Maybe apply some overglaze decals? Great pots. Thanks for sharing your glazes. The basket is just AMAAAZING!!!!! The inside looks like galvanized steel!!!
Thank you so much! ❤️ Yah I'm not sure what to do about the wall planters lol 😆
Dear, four months into pottery a mug should be around 3 minutes tops, obviously you can throw by the look of those mugs, find yourself a competent teacher, someone that can throw a mug in a bout a minute. It’s all about steps and getting rid of bad habits. All my students have being able to throw in 5 minutes or less in a8 week session.
Looks amazing! Great combo’s cannot Wait to try Some of them out myself❤
Thank you! Would love to see it if you try it out and post somewhere!
@@FieldsandFireCo I wil post it on my RUclips!
