I was educated in a Catholic school for 8 years and we went to Mass everyday and of course on Sundays. So 6 days a week, it was in the 50’s so before Vatican II and I had the Benedictine nuns, we sang Gregorian chants and Latin songs. I really felt so good and safe there and I learned so much from the Sisters. They worked so hard compared to teachers now in public schools. They wanted us to test really well on the State tests to make sure there was no trouble with accreditation. The student behavior was very good too compared to what my granddaughter has put up with in public school now.
