I bigger issue is you almost have to be a dealer to import kei trucks or pay the high price from dealers. There is no way they cost $25k from Japan new. Yes there is a few grand in shipping and import fees. Still love them though

The lm002 is an icon. It's a military vehicle for the streets. They should have reengineered it and continued making it. When it goes to handling and braking, MotorWeek said it handled better than they thought. And its power to weight ratio is similar to some sports cars during its time. I would have put the yugo at that spot. It's not Italian but it's European and it's one of the worst cars ever.
