Funny how even minimalism feels tacky and dated now.

From time to time I live in the former iceplant immediately next to Judd's house, I recorded my most rececnt tune there. It is fascinating to wander out for a coffee and be right in the middle of all of these strange monuments to this singular, idiosyncratic and towering figure of minimalism at nearly every corner...my time in Marfa (some 6 months now) has been full of wonder, mysterious orbs of light....monolithic art set against the backdrop of the endless panorama of the badlands of the high desert.....magical.
