if you are not breaking speed limit and you are riding within the speed limit this bike is for you since you will be able to use the poer band of this bike without going way above the speed limit in the freeway... but if youre a type like any other youtuber bikers that goes way above speed limit then get a higher CC.. thats my take
Hey dude, I have had a similar experience in the past. If it does that, try letting the bike roll a little while shifting. It helps take things out of a bind.
Depends if you care for the newer technology.. I personally would go for the 300sr a used 2023 or 2024 though. It has less power but if you’re going to get rid of either one after a year or two it doesn’t really matter.
Hey Raymon, I wanted to say I have the naked version of this bike and while I wish I could ride faster with the 650nk, the 300nk is perfect for what I'm using it for, it's my daily that I use to get me to and from work while also allowing me to have the joy of riding in the mountains when I'm off work. I think the 300nk is better than the 300ss just because you can throw on some dirt tires and take it off road but these kinds of bikes fill a specific niche that is affordable and fun while also being packed full of features and anti theft tech. I definitely don't regret my purchase, if anything having the 300 is helping me learn how to have better throttle control since I come from a Grom as my first street bike. Also wanted to just ask if you were rasta and you wanted to say hi to someone named Raymon, would you be like "Hey Raymonmon" I'll shut up now 😂
I have tbe same bike too 300 nk. I only feel underpowered on the freeway..I've taken it twice and I could.only go 70mph and after that it was too buzzy and of course being so freaking light, the wind was pushing me all over the lane.
This is definitely a good choice! I don’t think being a girl will hold you back from riding this or even a 400. I would say sit on a few and see how the weight feels
Girl, get it!! I'm a girl, and I ride. My 1st bike was a 250, and it was slow af. I'm definitely about to purchase this same bike in a different color😅
I feel you bro,I'm new to riding too, only been on a 4 wheeler once an learning to shift, but been years now, anyway been riding 4 about 7 months,I'm moving up to a kp mini efi 150 by lifan, then I thought about the 2023 cf moto 300 nk,it'd be perfect for the style of riding I'm doing an just back an forth to work an just running around town.
You have to ride it hard. Single cylinder engines are ment to be wound out through every gear. I believe this bike puts out it's peak torque at 7k? As far as the break in period, there's 2 schools of thought... Baby it for the 1st 1k miles...or... Wind it out and ride it for all it's worth. The important thing is to NOT lug it and to not red line it or be bouncing off the rev limiter like a fool. (If it has a limiter) You have to learn how to ride a small bike fast (within you abilities and experience) and you will learn to love it. Sure you'll always pine for more power/speed as you get better at riding but hey...
Getting hung between gears is a very common thing. I’ve got a Harley Street Glide and it happens often. I’m about to pick up one of these. But best way to get it un hung is to keep the the clutch pulled in and rock the bike back and for just a little. This will allow it to shift out of the situation. This is common on many other things other than motorcycles as well. Be safe and keep on enjoying riding!
I would say just say do as much riding on it as you can. I've made a lot of mistakes on mine but since it's a beginner bike I haven't had any accidents or drops.
Hi Raymon. i was in the situation as you, but i did have the opportunity to get the 450 kinda regret but at the same time, this 300ss as slimer and lower weight had saved from accident like falling down. Also, to mentioned i had the same problem as you where my gear disappeared but i managed to get back by releasing the clutch. I hope this is useful for the next owner of a 300ss.
I like how honest you are about your experience. There is nothing wrong with starting out with a small bike. I hope you change your mind about upgrading some day. I don’t know where you live, but find a place with a few curves and little traffic. Once you get a few hundred miles or so on your bike, maybe it will change your outlook. Thanks for sharing your perspective. Peace.
I got one last week in the same colour and I’m loving it. Just installed a tail tidy today. Looks so much better. Next is an exhaust. 😅 Enjoy your bike brother. Ride safe.

@@evaneberle684 I just got the fork stem mount with an original case for the iPhone 12 pro max

You need to ride at lower gears & at higher RPMs.
That is a beautiful bike Sir.

Are you in eco mode see if you can switch to sports
I switch between both.
It only changes screen layout, not performance.

Yeah of course! I've definitely made a lot of rookie mistakes and having a beginner bike saved me. I'm in no rush to get another bike.
U seem like a nice guy, thinking about getting one as a starter
Definitely a good starter bike! Saved me a couple times from beginner mistakes.
You will make mistakes shifting......this bike will do 90+ mph
Why do I keep hearing it's got a speed governor set to 82mph?
@@BendApparatusI’ve seen this bike go 100+, took a while but it does get there. Maybe 103mph
I want this thing but need to wait a year to start getting my licence and my dad barely lets me to ride a 125 lol
You convinced me to get a 450ss
A good choice! I've been told they are pretty good as a beginner bike
Got mine 2 weeks ago, it’s fun!
My gear indicator kept going blank today only on 2nd to 4th geqrs

happens on my dirt bike too when its warm I have to rock it to get it in neutral or it will just keep going from 1st to 2nd it is common
Man i just bought the bike from the dealership do you have any tips

What are the differences between 2022 and 2023 models? I can't seem to find an answer anywhere.
I don't really think there's a difference other than the colors. The color I have as well as the all gray one came with the 2023 models I belive.
nice ride
Good looking bike man. Hope you’re loving it!
how did you got the open nut for the quadlock?
There wasn't a nut on the bike just a black rubber piece I popped out and put the quadlock in.
#Noice🔥🔥🔥 Beautiful bike boss
Do you have any plans on selling the bike ?
I've thought about it but I owe way more than I'd be able to sell it for.

Thanks for the video. I’m looking for my first bike and was debating between this and the 450. I plan to make it a daily commuter tho
Nice! I would go with the 450 for the extra power
Get a Ninja 400 instead
💯
Depends where u live tbh and where u ride to in my small coty even 125 is enough
@@DangerEnt98 those are basic and can’t even keep up with the 450ss on a bad day
You not really helping... you sound like you know nothing about bikes...
I think I said that in the video 🤣 it's my first bike ever

@akjournalist Thank you! In Arizona there are many good places to ride, so I will do more riding to see how I like it.
I just got the same one and I love it

Where did you get the tail tidy? I’ve been thinking of getting one. And congrats man!!
