@@royalchessmall I have purchased several sets from you. Some have been great. Others, clearly defective/2nds although I have never purchased a 2nd from you. The defect rate(30-35%) of the sets I have purchased is excessively high and signifies your quality control needs some serious work. As a customer, I expect better than this. I buy from other chess retailers and have not had this excessive defect rate with any of them. I know you can do better than this because I have some superb sets from you that I am extremely happy with. As a customer, I resent having to be your quality control guinea pig.

I got the French Chavet Tournament set in antiqued and ebonized boxwood, the leatherette padded coffer, the 21-inch printed board and board case some time ago. All of them are made with such care and even the way the individual pieces were wrapped for shipment was a wonder to behold and showed the enormous pride that the artisans take in their work!
