Common issues with flowmeters include blockages caused by dust or water accumulation, physical damage such as cracks, and leakages due to loose connections. To address these problems, check for leaks using soapy water and tighten any loose tubes. Clean the flowmeter tube with a small bendable brush, and if the flowmeter is cracked, consider replacing it.

The compressor will usually shut down and cause the service alarm if it overheats. To prevent this, ensure the oxygen concentrator is not placed too close to walls and has adequate space for ventilation. If there's a blockage, the compressor may overheat and shut down due to pressure and temperature buildup. You should also check that the valve wire harness is properly connected to the main control board and that the pressure tube is well connected to the main control board and the product tank.

It is recommended to test parameters such as oxygen purity after the process. However, the major objective of this video is to show how the refilling process is done.

Sometimes, zeolite from the sieve beds can leak and accumulate in the valve airway paths and chambers. Cleaning the valve is one way to address this issue.

When testing an oxygen concentrator, the primary focus is on checking the oxygen purity, as it is the main product gas. You typically do not need to check for other gases separately because the analyzer will provide the percentage of oxygen, and the presence of other gases is generally accounted for in this measurement.

If you are referring to the ends of the sieve bed, they are usually not glued. You will need to unscrew or cut the sieve bed, as a heat gun will not help.

For this project, decommissioned zeolite was used. The zeolite was sodium and lithium-based, sourced from Longfain Jay-5 and DeVilbiss 525 oxygen concentrators. The regenerated zeolite was then used in oxygen concentrators and performed even better.

You can search online for sources of zeolite for oxygen concentrators. However, if you are servicing a concentrator, make sure to address all possible causes of the issue first. Refilling the zeolite should be considered only as a last resort.

Firstly make sure the solenoid valves are functioning properly by testing their magnetism using a paper clip during the cycles. Check that the exhaust muffler is unrestricted. Also please would you share the oxygen purity level the oxygen concentrator is producing? But the ideal approach is to replace the beds with new one if they are contaminated. Alternatively you can refill them with fresh zeolite after cutting.
