what version of reaper is this and what is the trick to getting this good of production. Do you use an interface or are you actually studioed.
I’m using an interface. I have mics and such for if I really wanted to do it the traditional way, but I’m in a basement recording this stuff. It’s just the latest version of Reaper although I’ve customized the view a little bit. I can’t really give an answer on how to get good production other than researching on the internet for how each instrument should be EQd and compressed and trying it yourself over and over again. Not the answer anyone probably wants, but that’s really the best advice I can give. Check my latest video if you like this stuff. I think it’s the best sound I’ve achieved yet.

Guitar tone is just from a Peavey 6505MH head and an Ibanez Tube Screamer then equalized on the recording software. As far as the high and low shelf goes, it's essentially one track is all high frequencies and the other is all the lower frequencies. The low shelf track is also not 100% to the right or left. It helps make the guitar sound more full. Also, all four tracks are separate takes. The high and low shelf aren't just duplicates of the same tracks.
This is the best "chubby" look of Ben in my opinion. He looks bulky, strong & healthy but not overly fat.. Granted his belly might looks a bit large in some angles but it's still tolerated because he looks good in that outfit
Did you using an audio interface or did u stick an amp near the guitar
I have a direct line from the amp to a soundboard that then goes to an interface. Although I believe a couple mics in front of the amp produces a better tone for recording, I don't want to have to deal with external noises or reverb.

I've seen Breaking Benjamin in concert 3 times now, and compared to those performances, this seems like a definitely sub-par performance from Ben. He seems a little all over the place as far as pitch goes. Still seems like a pretty fun concert to be at, though.

I used to like this band, but man, how can the lead singer be so fu*king bad live? It's awful! I'm not a fan anymore!
He has a lung infection of some kind, I'm pretty sure. It makes it hard for him to sing good. But I agree he definitely could've done better.
I've seen some old live performances of his and they don't sound good also. He is mediocre at his best.. For me, a band isn't good if they can't sound good enough live. Listen to Kings of Leon, for exemple. (If I made some mistakes, I am sorry. I'm not a native english speaker.)
