At 1:19:44 I think instead of most of these people wanting to control the stream and leaving because they can't influence it, it's more about them trying to find a place to fit in and be a part of. Some may continue to stay and try to find a way fit in but a lot of them will feel rejected and just leave immediately. Something like this might come across their mind, "We don't want your advice, this isn't a place for you/you don't belong here." That obviously isn't being said, but sometimes all it takes is just a little bit of rejection to get them to leave. I don't know, maybe it's just me that thinks this. The person who started up this conversation was someone that wanted to try and help by mentioning the PDA pause feature in the Options menu. Instead of just blurting it out they made sure to mention that it's not a spoiler. I agree that it's not a spoiler, but mentioning it would indeed have an influence on the stream. From what I've seen after watching multiple VODs, Daniel wants chatters to avoid having any kind of influence on him and his gameplay whatsoever. I think that's great, it can give give him and us a "true"? experience, but at the same time it can make it rough for people that want to be a part of that experience. I wonder if there's a good way to help new chatters understand that rule of no influence? I didn't see any rules listed in the About section on Daniel's twitch page and since these are VODs I'm not able to see what title was being used for each stream. What do you guys usually use? No Spoilers, Blind Gameplay, Ect.? I wonder if something like "Do not try to influence the gameplay in any way" would help better than just saying no spoilers. Hmm...

Jeez... Daniel was really struggling with base building in this episode. Hopefully he figures it all out pretty quick. Thanks again for the VODs guys! 👍

Man, you unvoluntarily make your content painfully filled with tangents, non comments, and generally a test of patience. I swear I went to take a shower, cooked meals for the whole week, checked emails and when I came back you were still on the same dialogue bubble. I even came with an idea of posting your content in a supercut, just like some anime/mangas have a list of fillers, but with your content, while displaying how much time was saved by watching it instead your OC. This 4hs is just 30 minutes (with an optimistic "at most") of gameplay. It would be better suited as a "let's talk" than actual gameplay. I gave you an honest try. I got this far. May others enjoy this. I can't.

Man what an incredible journey this game was. Thank you for uploading your journey here because it let me vicariously experience another playthrough of the game, choom. I felt like I had a hole that needed filling after finishing it myself. No other game got the immersion factor nailed down like Cyberpunk does in my honest opinion. The characters, story, dialogue and worldbuilding is unmatched for an rpg game. I understand if you want to avoid it but I highly recommend you at least check out the other endings of the game. The expansion actually adds a new ending to the main game too. The credit screen's voicemail is also different for each ending.

Aguilar quest is probably one of the best quests in this game. Being given the chance to use such sick tech/ability outside of a main story set piece is sick and more games should do it.

2:05:00 this gonna be the wildest take I've ever had but... I think all opinions and takes should be considered and discussed no matter how bad they sound with few rules in mind: 1. People should be given equal opportunities from birth in terms of prosperity, freedom of choice and freedom for expression. To debate you should at least be sure that your idea of society promises happiness, prosperity and ability self realisation for everyone. 2. Your idea must not include shutting down other ideas. It's impossible to not to include this the reason is this: morale, ethics and self-judgement shouldn't be the reason why someone isn't allowed to say his opinion. 3. Your ideas should be based on something concrete, something that could be disproved. In my opinion, racist people exist mostly because they aren't discussed and thought about that often. Isolation leads to radicalisation and disconnection. Once people completely disconnected from eachother there's only two solutions: genocide or going back and spending hundreds of years on the thing that could've been prevented in the first place

I foresee the Marcus button getting a lot of mileage for this one, oh boy. Also, the whole.. being able to cancel out of your actions midway/intentionally failing button prompts is the funniest shit to play around with in these games, kills me every time.

I enjoyed the hell out of this playthrough! Sad I couldn’t be there when it was live, but man, this was great. Loved the genuine critique from a writing perspective at the beginning, couldn’t agree more. Any character traits you could glean from Carla, Lucas, and Tyler feel like a list of tangential facts at best. They hardly ever seem to tie into the story, or inform a character’s behavior, aside from the strictly technical. E.g. Carla is claustrophobic, so you have to do a breathing mini game where she gets trapped in tight corridors. Never goes anywhere, never serves her arc, doesn’t get elaborated on. It feels completely arbitrary, divorced from any significance to the story or the character. Tyler is the only one who seems to have much to him, albeit, as you pointed out, his characterization is noticeable inconsistent. But even his inclusion in the game feels like a waste! He just completely drops out of the story, his role served no purpose other than Cage clearly saw some blaxploitation films and wanted to do his own perverse, ignorant approximation of that via a side character who has zero impact on the narrative. And that’s just kinda his MO, he sees a movie he enjoyed, and thinks “I wanna do that” without seemingly understanding why the movie he saw was good. He takes surface level aestheticism, and tries to derive an entire story from it. All that said, to take my critic hat off, I genuinely love these games so much. There’s something undeniably compelling to me about bad art when done so earnestly. These type of “so bad it’s good” pieces of media are uniquely brilliant, in their own way. A competent creator couldn’t make something like this, it would lack that earnest charm of someone trying too hard and completely missing the mark. They’re fun to experience, in all their absurdity, and fun to rip into critically. PS: A really funny thing you can do during that big fight scene on the roof is turn the music off, keep the sound effects. Works great in Heavy Rain too. Pure comedy. Doing that has genuinely gotten some of the hardest laughter out of me.

addendum to 1:17:00 - An outsider is only an outsider until you invite them inside. Most people want to be inside, I think. Especially if it makes you rich. But what the hell is the point of being an outsider except for the pure sake of it? Does anyone really want to be an outsider? Forever? Outsider art is the yelp of those trying to change the supra-culture. Trying to change it is essentially trying to be a part of it, that the supra-culture is wrong, and it **should** be this way or another; but then, when it is that way, when it subsumes your counter-culture, when suddenly you got what you wanted... suddenly it's bad? This is where generational conflict comes from, I think. Interesting thoughts.
