All good but a arapaima in a 8 ft tank not even have hight and width 😂😂. I mean a 3 ft arapaima need atleast 2 feet width tank and a full grown arapaima is basically this tank itself.
The width and height is 2ft and it’s going to take time for my arapima to reach 3ft
@@FishNScape a arapaima grow in natural 3 feet in 1 year but in your tank I highly doubt it will grow that quick. Still if it grow more than 4 feet just update tank or give it someone else don't release it in nature.

why you cleaned your media with tap water? tap water kills beneficial bacteria, next time do it with tank water. Also I can see calcium formation on the heater surface, scrape of that calcium or else it can crack the heater glass.

That tank is way too small for those discuss. I would at a minimum load that thing with anubias on drift wood with the correct lighting and maybe a tiny bit of CO2 to help the plants out. LOAD it with plants

3ft still aint enough, discus need at minimum 80 gallons or 300 litres minimum and them tetras need minimum 8 of each species and the cory minimum 6, you needa get them all bigger tanks@@FishNScape
