Absolute nonsense…….you’d never get a large driveway done cleaning out mixer after every mix…….adding that sand is totally useless……..changes colour aswell
I’m afraid you are incorrect in saying sand is useless. C52 Sand adds strength to the finished installation as has been proven by independent testing - and the Daltex mix design is BBA approved. We now offer Daltex binding quartz as an alternative to sand which you may prefer if you have concerns about colour.

Great video...i have a concrete non porous driveway. I have been suggested to drill holes into concrete floor then lay the resin bound...will this make it permable or not? As want to reduce my surface drainage charge Thx
To be eligible for a surface water drainage reduction you must be able to prove that no surface water drains into public sewers. To achieve this you would have to have a fully permeable build up of type 3 mot and either open grade tarmac, porous concrete or “eco grids” which would provide a permeable surface that allows the water to drain into the ground. Drilling holes in the concrete would not only weaken the surface and risk damage to the resin bound surface but would also not be adequately porous.
Why mix A and B what is the difference between the two and what is the ratio so that a person can mix smaller batches for smaller project or repairs?

We recommend 7.5kg of resin or 7kg of resin (depending on the blend) is used with 4 bags of Daltex dried aggregates (ie 100kg) plus 6.25kg of C52 sand.

Hi Stephen, 1 mix of Daltex Resin Bound covers approximately 3.55m2 at a depth of 18mm which we recommend.
