Chigozi deserved it all. I don't condone infidelity, and definitely don't believe a man should leave his wife for his mistress, but he could have done those things quietly. He bad no regard for the trauma that him humiliating her like that publicly on her birthday would cause. He didn't act like a dissatisfied husband. He acted like she stole from him. He also didn't care to help her get settled as a single woman. He intentionally left her to struggle. He didn't deserve any form of reconciliation. Her forgiveness is for her and definitely not something deserved.
