Professor Tetel, thank you for the video! The high B (which you discuss at 2:50) can be played harmonic as Popper indicates by leaving the thumb back on the lower B 3 notes before and sliding 2 up to the "octave" harmonic. The same is true for the high C (3:45) by leaving the thumb on the lower C 2 notes before. I don't know if this makes it easier, harder, better or worse, but it might explain why Popper would mark those two notes as harmonics.
