Yeah, they're a headache until you manage to take the only pathways through the mountains. And then it's pretty much a cake-walk to Barad Dûr, and at worst you funnel all their assaults towards 2 forts, making it very easy to contain them.

@gimliseyebrow49 That's good to know. Yes, I should lower the speed. I've been playing on x6 for so many years it's tricky to break the habit. I will also be building the Fiefdom barracks soon. I want to get the normal barracks up and running first so we can retrain / recruit our better units.

@dnzdb1601 I think there are some factions that earn money at the very start, but some funds increase / decrease over the end turn.

@@thegreenknight2023 sorry i put it a bit wrong. yes some factions are really losing money at the beginning. and it seems all factions are. but some of them budget turns normal.

@@luisluis2976 I rarely take adoptions, but you do make a good point about the settlements being separated. It wouldn't certainly help with public order and income.

@pdcj25 Thank you. Appreciate the comment. It's tough with the Dúnedain as you need to expand, but you're surrounded by enemies. You need troops, but equally you want to build up your settlements too. It's a balancing act.

@cjnight6 Hi there. That issue should not occur if all the files have been copied over and generated correctly. I appreciate you've already installed it previously, but I would recommend a clean install of DaC, then run the cleaner file. Download and copy the files over for The Golden Legacy, and then run the cleaner file again.

That is odd. I know it's a pain, but I would download and install a clean version of DaC and run the cleaner file. Then download and paste in the Golden Legacy folder and run the cleaner file again. That should work. If you're still having issues then jump into the Discord server and we can take a closer look.

@strategygamemike I know a few people who play like that, but I always struggle if I turtle up. They simply grind me down and eventually overwhelm me with numbers. I'll probably struggle with the aggressive playstyle, too!

I always forget about spies raising culture! I do sometimes sell map information, but I prefer to trade it for their map information, if possible.
