Toyota Supra mk4 SZ-R version is 225ps (190hp) with 2JZGE which means NA. instead of BMW M3 with 285hp. you compared 2 motors same CC but with 100hp difference..i don't find any logical answer here on this comparison. why you didn't compare it with the Supra RZ-S? or the RZ? Truth is painful i know. We all know how German cars suck compared to Japanese.

Even if the supra would be a turbo, it would have 330 hp compared to a M3 e36 which is N/a AND holding at 321hp. Yall go read stuff before commenting that " ITS NOT TURBO 🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓🤓" and even if it were, it would still loose due to POWER/WEIGHT ratio. And for people who say "limitations" the turbo supra is over 280hp YET would loose, as I said, to power/weight ratio. Now all little fellas that don't know technical stuff about any cars in general, stop it, just agree the M3 would win in any circumstances ( especially track )
Doesn't matter if the Supra loses, but this race is like racing an M3 against a 330i, pointless. Get a turbo one, and we'll actually see an interesting race regardless of the winner.

@@hayt69 Imagine a match between an e46 M3 an a Z3 3.0i. the Z3 is a pure sports car, but in this case it's powered by a normal non M BMW engine, it will lose even if both are NA and have similar displacement. The 2JZ, especially the non turbo ones can be found in normal big sedans, it wasn't designed to make 100hp per litre NA. Unlike the S52 powering the M3.
@@hayt69 another example, think about the B48 in the Z4, 2 litre turbo, 250hp, and race it against an A45 AMG. Same 2 litre, also turbocharged, but built for different purpose.

I D I O T S ! ! ! This is Supra SZ-R 3.0 natural aspirated with only 220-230HP. Thi is not a competitor to the M3. I'm fan of BMW's, but hate scammers. Ps: the owner of this channel is an idiot.

Like one guy once said "JDM cars are shit until they are tuned" of course there are few exceptions, but the supra isn't one of them. JDM fan boys are the worst in the car community, they always wet themselves when their extremely tuned shitbox with a stripped interior beats a comfortable daily driveable sports car. And when it loses even against a stock car, they won't accept the defeat, instead they make all kinds of excuses, blaming the driver is the common excuse.

In my opinion this was an un-fair test. The Supra was the N/A 5 speed model which is not comparable to the M3 in terms of price and performance. I would be interested to see a re-race with the Rz Supra.

Lol I actually learned it doesn’t have turbos when I was young in a funny way. I seen it in Gran Turismo and was “Why is that so cheap” bought it and then got my ass handed to me. I looked it up online to see why it was so slow and found out it doesn’t have turbos. Granted I was like 10 at the time lol

@@doraizu yep, they exist as n/a model, n/a with 4 speed auto, turbo, turbo with 4 speed auto. the SZ-R Version in this video is the 2jzge non turbo with 225 hp. you can google what a Supra SZ-R is. Supra RZ is the 2jzgte.
