I just started playing. On a controller. I'm not good. I have mine set at 90, the lowest amount. Once i figure out how to not get invalid laps. Im gonna adjust it more.

Brought this today and cant wait to play through the career mode and i can feel the nostalgia of this awesome rally game

it actually feels fantastic with a wheel but like all driving games it requires you to set it up correctly

i bought this game on DVD (my first ever physical game purchase on PC and the most expensive game I spent even until today) when it was released back then, and since i started using Steam from 2016 and found that i could redeem the game on Steam with my CD-Key then so i did, and then i decided to throw the DVD away...... and I can't tell you how deep I regreted it knowing that Steam could delist/remove a game from my account ( even if they don't i stll have to login Steam to play the game, where with my DVD install I can play it offline wherever whenever I want.....)

The online is full of this drivers, its a pile of shit

I loved 2 and this game. 2 is personally my favorite, but 3 is the best

Great video Loved Dirt 2 and 3 Dirt 2 was the first game I played with my first steering wheel the G27 I've been playing Rally games since the PS1 era.. Colin McRae rally was my favorite rally game as a kid keep up the great work Subbed

Can you do gymkhana on cockpit view

I find dirt 3 so twitchy on a controller. It ruins it for me. Are there settings i am missing out on? I was amazed you said it drives so well on a controller. Forza yes, Grid legends yes but Dirt 3..not for me. Any suggestions would be great.

Nice to see some love for Dirt 3, after all these years it really holds up well and is one I come back to regularly! Also, like @tyronpatapon, I've been playing WRC Generations on controller lately and it's a blast, can really recommend that one!

Even 13 years old game but stll sounds better than any kt wrc game.

More like everything wrong with rally games: piss filter, codemasters trademark flat track, gymkhana plague. Rally is about endurance and that's something they all get wrong with five minute tracks and filler modes.

I have downloaded this game to try my h shiter to my wheel, and well configured is amazing. The force feedback is decent, but you can improve it with little tweaks, and also with a secuential shifter is on another level. The countersteering with wheel feels really natural for the physics system

I love the game, but it can absolutely fuck right off with the required gymkhana segments. I wanna drive rally stages, don't make me do something I don't find fun.

Same here ! Just purchased a Thrustmaster T128 and until yesterday (steam promotions, particulary on Dirt 2.0) it was my only rally game. With some works (tips found on the web easily), it's good and fun with my wheel.

Currently replaying the 360 line up 😩 completed them on pc, but want my 360 HD, to have save games of them all I love the old dirt series wish they would make it again like it was

Tried it. Didn't like it. Sticking with ACC. Also I found the control setup to be far off and I needed to do a lot of changes

I have to disagree with you here good sir. I think dirt 2 was way better. The presentation of that game was way better, and I personally can do very fine without gymkhana game mode. The trailer and festival in dirt 2 made the game more special and more engaging. But I respect your opinion that you like dirt 3 more.

That’s jus your friend that isn’t online there cars tend to roam around when their not online don’t believe me go drive around in forza horizon 5 and 4 and it’s also in 3

I'm going to play through the game again on the pc. Cat and Mouse used to be my addiction. Thanks for bringing this awesome game back outta the dungeon. I'm glad it still works on my Steam.

I play many sims but this one is still probably my fav to just chill I bought "Premium" package like 3 years ago at this point and I don't regret it because I enjoyed every of 500h I have on my counter since then I was able to add all released tracks (like 5 or something like that), some cars and I still have like 3k points left that I won from time trial raffles and some leagues which is nice thing sadly it isn't so populated but in EU time zone at evenings u can find ranked races and also these events where u need to qualify with hotlaps has decent amount of players idk if it ever will have more attention since there is more and more competition and there is not enough players since simracing market still is kinda niche but they still bring new updates that push this title forward I play on wheel but I know there are few really fast people that also use mouse to steer which probably is even better than controller and it's amazing that it is possible in sim game, lol

Dirt 3 was too much gymkhana and too little rally. also locking legendary rally cars behind a paywall was a huge downer.

Dirt 2 is my all time favorite, i was also not that good on gymkhana but i loved Cat and Mouse mode online😂, i wish they can bring those modes bacK
