Yup it is a cold one. Did a burn and turn to Sault Ste. Marie yesterday. Very windy and loads of snow squalls along the lake. Roads were snow covered from Rossport to White River, no animals or accidents however. We were there and back in 16 hours flat plus made the pick up we went for. -31c this morning here and -38c with windchill this morning. Stay safe folks.

I have never experienced cold weather like you experience in your area. Here in Vancouver our winter so far has been so mild….rain, rain and more rain. Good news is that we don’t have to shovel it. Snow on our mountains which the skiers love and it it looks so beautiful looking out of our living room window. We have missed Caroline and Shawn but nice to know that they are now settled in their new home and back to videos on You tube. So hope 2025 is a better year for them. Haven’t had an IKEA meal in years….definitely will give breakfast a try this week. The price is great!! Thanks for update. Stay warm guys and a big hello to Len and Dorothy. Brodie absolutely adores Aunty Dorothy. Such a cutie!! Our sheltie would love playing with Brodie.

I live about 100 miles from those fires. Our power company, SCE, turns off power for days every time there are high winds. People have to buy generators. I live in the high desert and they don’t do that to us, yet. When I was a kid growing up there wasn’t any of these problems when there were Santa Ana winds. I really want to leave this state for many other reasons too

We have 4, 3 boys & 1 girl..our Daughter had to wait until she turned 18 to color her hair & get a tatoo....didn't take her long..she just turned 40 ;)

Hi Kelly, Kevin and Brodie! I’m praying for all the people in California that have lost their lives and homes. It’s a shame that the insurance companies are canceling people’s insurance and not paying for their losses. Everyday working people have lost their homes and no way to build their homes back because the insurance companies don’t want to pay, it’s horrible. IKEA is a maze, but they have some reasonable stuff. Ouch, Brodie got you Kevin…he gets excited thinking he is getting a treat. Got to watch the treats and food for our fur babies because of the junk they put into them. Nice haul, especially the crafting items. Hi Dorthy and Len! Nice haul Dorthy. Dinner looked really good. If you make them again and they are dry and crumbling like that, just add a 1/2 teaspoon of cold water an mix it in. That should fix it. and the Prime rib looked delicious :)
