Just filtering in this case, also there is an inline heater, so water evaporates as soon as oil touches the bowl.

This device evaporates water and catches heavy inclusions, thus filtering oil and removing dirt. A milk separator separates water from fat, thus it will not keep mechanical inclusions or tar, so if your intention just to separate water from contaminated oil, then milk separator will work.

Thank you very much for your advice, it sounds good, but the high revolutions are no more than 1500rpm. This can be compensated by using a larger bowl, but running a centrifuge with a lathe is like using a semi-truck to go grocery shopping - it involves too many gears and is wasteful in terms of power consumption and machine work time accumulation. A dedicated centrifuge is a small device with a low wattage, but a high-revving capable electric motor, suitable for processing the appropriate flow for the size of the device. This is axle shaft and not available nowhere even rockauto, yes they have cv axles, or axle shaft seals and bearings, but not this particular part, no one has it now, no Ebay or Amazon.Ans as I had mentioned a temporary solution until the proper part is found.

It is a temporary solution, and I decided not to, as may cause the shaft to snap in half if done wrong.

Thanks a lot for this history lesson. It's fascinating to hear about the popularity of the Pullman Super Snipe back in the 1950s and early 60s, especially as a reliable taxi choice. Although those times have passed, it's wonderful to know that a few Snipes still exist today, serving as live reminders of that era.

The supply line has a heater that heats the oil to 110c before it reaches the drum; thus, the oil's temperature is higher than the water's boiling point. When oil is in the drum, most of the water evaporates rapidly. Whatever is left is stuck to the walls of the rotating drum, and when it stops, it drains down to the waste oil can through a separate drainage line.

I came across with my scooter accidentally at scrap yard place while hunting for some metal for my projects, just asked how much and they charged me for metal weight that was NZ$20

Sure, though a properly adjusted engine will start half-turn without backfire, even a single cylinder vintage diesel engine.

@@dryindustrial.3028 engine runs perfectly fine is not wore out or anything and no I do not wrap my thumb around the handle this one requires multiple rotations of the crank with quick speed before it engages the next function to crank it starts every single time as long as you got it spinning fast enough

​@@tonydiesel3444 ​ Yes, the thumb protection is number one thing while starting any type of old stationary or vehicle engine, also most of stationary diesel engines would have a de-compressor lever, thus it is easy to crank the engine and flywheel gains its momentum and upon a start there is no need to crank anything, the flywheel will do the trick of starting, thus thumbs and other members are kept safe.
