I love you all
After seeing many deleted scenes around, it was a mistake to remove them. They gave so much more pace and sense to the scenes. Without them everything happened so fast and so sensless. Hopefully if they remake the Xena all of the shows flaws will be fixed. The show has the potential to be the greatest show.

I was out of the loop on Xena growing up. My parents are Christians, they homeschooled and didn't wanted to protect us from the influences of television. So, I finally got into Xena, when my husband bought the complete collection of Hercules and Xena from our Walmart. Xena is my favorite of course. We're currently watching Xena for the second time. I'm late to the scene. But, Glad that I'm finally able to enjoy.
Xena kills Gaby? Haven't seen that ep. The writers grew hateful towards the show, they want to kill it..and they did.
She doesn't kill her. Just hurts her.
the season following that episode is actually the best of the show

I get these by watching this video: 1- they didn't even watch their own work in those days...2- Lucy hated to play her character Xena .for what of the multiple reasons? She only knows.. 3- Reneé is so light that it seems she didn't mind playing Gabrielle +the cons+interviews+the sitting next to Lucy's husband mm..that husband can sell anything for the love of show business..mmm....

At the time when Kevin died, he had completed his role for Hercules, Xena, and even Young Hercules. He made an excellent Ares. Much better than that tall whatever it was for Ares when Hercules first started out as a series before they had Kevin fill the role.
This episode is from Season 5 where Ares killed Eli.

1:38-2:05 check out the dynamic between all three. Rob: happy as hell- Renee: horrified- Lucy: total disappointment! U can tell Lucy wanted to throw her arm around Renee. Threes a crowd, u know?
I couldn't agree more. I get it. He created the show, he's her husband....but it's like......the tension is so thick when he's there. In every commentary without him Lucy is very affectionate to Renee. And now...it's just.....blech.
I think Lucy is kind of serious because her husband is not sitting by her...and I don't think is because she is jealous, no, maybe she resented the marketing of Tapert if you know what I mean.
That's how I feel sometimes you just want that one on one with your friend
2 years late but I can understand why Lucy acts different when Rob is around. First off she sees him all the time of course their married. But she doesn’t get to see Renee because they live in different parts of the world. So when they do get to see and be around each other they want to be comfortable and enjoy each other’s company. I get it!!!

I'm probably in the minority when I say this, but I kinda wish they would have had more of a story line with Gabrielle and Ares, bc they are kinda cute together. With the chemistry and all but Xena woulda probably freaked. lol
The actors had a lot of chemistry, but it was better for the story to have Ares only pursue Xena, I think
