ELFT QI
Добавлен 10 апр 2014
East London NHS Foundation Trust provides mental health and community health services. Our core area includes City of London, Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets, Bedfordshire and Luton. We also deliver numerous services to many other people further afield.
We aspire to provide care of the highest quality, in collaboration with those who use our services. ELFT is an organisation that embraces continuous improvement and learning. Achieving this will mean we have to think differently, be innovative, and give everyone, at every level, the skills they need to lead change. It will not be easy to build this culture, but focusing on what matters most to our service users and staff, and improving access to evidence-based care will make our services more effective, give more power to our staff and improve patient experience and outcomes.

Thanks for this follow-up presentation. I am a Deming disciple. Dr. Deming is a genius, the man behind the resurrection of Japan from the WW II ruins to become a formidable economic for in the world! Dr. Deming's 14 Points is the answer to small businesses' survival and sustainability beyond 5 years.
This is a succinct and straightforward explanation. Dr. Deming is a genius. I used the Deming 14 Points as my conceptual framework for my dissertation to address the proverbial statement that 50% of businesses do not survive the 5-year benchmark. My literature review from peer-reviewed journals covered 37,258 individual cases of SMEs (about 95% with 50 employees or less) that survived and sustained their business beyond 5 years. My paper will be published soon in ProQuest. I am also praying on having my study published in peer-reviewed journals.
I like it very much
Boring.
Brilliant presentation! Thanks.
Thank you, quite informative

QI activities will often involve the use of tools and techniques that may be unfamiliar to service users. Give consideration to training needs and skill development.
Hi Anthony, absolutely, our microsite gives service users & carers an introduction to QI, and working with our People Participation team we ensure that all services users and carers involved in QI projects have access to support and further QI learning. This may be through our QI induction sessions, bespoke intro to QI training for service users and carers, or Pocket QI. Several service users & carers have taken our more in-depth course Improvement Science in Action, and we also have a service user who has become a QI Coach. Each month we also host a QI steering group for service users and carers involved in projects, this also acts as a peer to peer support network. Find out more here - qi.elft.nhs.uk/get-involved/
ELFT QI Thanks for the reply and especially the link. I'm a service user volunteer helping with the development of training for su/c in QIS with my own Trust. I love what you're doing!
Do you ever consider that the drugs you prescribe the patients could cause them to be aggressive and violent or this is not something that you will debate, but if it was something that you would consider how would you go about it ?
Can you be specific about what this reduction collaborative is...what do you do to reduce violence by 67% in a year on a mental health ward ?
Respond pls
