I'm actually going from PR4 to RS3. The endorsement makes me feel better. Michelin makes a great tire, I just believe they're over priced for what they are.

Hey John thank you for posting this video. So on the left side of your screen is my grandpa’s and my grandma’s old grocery store on the corner of Highway nine and 10. Across the street is a pond and across the pond is a lake Where there used to be a young girls summer camp. This was in the 1970s and gasoline at my grandpa store was About $.28 a gallon. I used to work in the store with my grandpa During the summer and then fly back to California for school. The chiggers and the ticks were horrendous. I would have to take a bath at night to get them to come out of my skin. As a teenager I used to swim in the creek about a quarter mile south of the store where the bridge is. One time my grandpa had me drive with a friend of his To I think go fishing And he wanted me to hold the steering wheel while he rolled himself a cigarette. I was probably 13 or 14. Thanks for bringing back some good memories Of Perryville Arkansas or Williams Junction to be exact.

well the fjr pr4 would have been the GT spec tyre which is reinforced and will do the extra mileage over the standard pr4s and the trails. The trail tyres are identical to the normal pr4's but come in the dual sport rim sizes thats it. It would be great if they would do a pr4 trail gt in the 150/70/17 but now the pr5 is out there's no chance of that happening the only gt trail size is the 170/60/17 which is way to wide to fit on the rim of a 150/70/17 tyre.

I think you should be using the pilot road 4 gt not the pilot road 4 trail. The gt is for heavier bikes so has a harder centre compound so should wear slower in the centre

I hated getting stuck behind cars there at the end. Those are some of the best twisty bits I've found nearby.

Its cool to see it from someone else's perspective. I grew up on Narrows Rd right there off crows jnc and took Hwy 5 into town the first couple years I rode. I hit a deer pretty close to my house a few years back that time of the year. They're bad around there.
