There is no forest/govt. accommodation option available at tadoba Andheri on website. I called them and got to know that there is no forest/govt accommodation at tadoba andhari. Theg told me to book a pvt hotel. What I do pls advise

Getting safari slot is a challenge, you have to reserve early. Look at safari gates around Pangdi core and buffer gates like Nimdhela, Sirkheda, belara, Madnapur, Keslaghat. These areas are less crowded but gives good tiger sighting chances.

Pench me tiger sighting hoti hai, almost everytime I visited. But you will need some luck. Maharashtra side safari can be booked from this website. Khursapar and sillari are good zones. safaribooking.mahaforest.gov.in/

It is as safe as any other road. My personal preference is to drive during the day.

The tents are secure from insects, it is advisable to keep it closed/zipped when not using. The bathroom was basic but tidy when I visited and understood that they were renovated meanwhile.

Yes it is safe...the road surface is ok (not four lane highway). The drive through Panna tiger reserve is scenic.

You can drive to Dharwad bypass, then take left to reach Ponda via Anmod - Molen. From Ponda drive to your destination.

Ok, then this route should workout. Road between Molen and Dharwad is not in best condition so there is no better alternative as far as I know.

Yes, this is still the best route. A bridge at Karwar has collapsed so there is a diversion. So follow this video up to Yallapur and then follow Google maps. From where exactly you will return from North Goa?

@shabby348 then you can take Ponda - Molen-Anmod - Dharwad bypass - Davangere - Bangalore route. A section of road after Anmod is not at its best, but this is the best available. Please subscribe to our channel if you find it useful.

I don't think you can. If you want a R18 tyre, you will have to change the rims. You will also have to reduce the side wall height if you increase the rim size. The idea is to keep the overall diameter of the wheel unchanged. Otherwise you will face issues while driving. The wheel may even touch with wheel arches.

Hi, glad that you saw our video and I am sure you will have a great trip to Tadoba. There is a rooftop restaurant in the hotel serving lunch and dinner.The food is tasty and they can customise if you need anything special. They don't serve breakfast, but if you tell them in advance, they will arrange it from outside and serve. Note: there are not many restaurants in the town so it is better to go for this option. Initially I had a thought of taking the Hyd - Mancherial - Chandrapur Road , since I have driven on NH44 multiple times, that road is equally good and traffic is moderate (less than NH44) , but could not find a reliable option to stay . By the way how long was the journey from Nirmal to Mohurli. ?

Nirmal to Mohali is max 5 hr drive via Adilabad.

Regarding point 2&3 - when I changed my tyres, the dealer suggested that I do the low point matched for the tyre and alloy while doing wheel balancing (the wheel balancing machine measures and shows the alignment points between tyre and alloy). This made the steering lighter. You can ask for the same when you go for balancing next time. You should now get more confidence in high speed cornering and braking.

It is called 'match mounting'. For match mounting the tyre, the tyre's lightest spot (red/yellow dot mark on the tyre) is aligned with the wheel's heaviest spot. Modern tyres do not come with the red/yellow dot. But a hunter tyre balancer machine can measure and locate the point in the tyre and the point in the wheel/alloy .
