Two or three years ago, I finally had my Omega Seamaster 300M, that I bought new in 2001, professionally serviced by Omega. I’m not a rich, but I’ve always had an insatiable appreciation for quality and craftsmanship. Which is why I originally bought the watch years ago to commemorate when I started my first professional job. The servicing cost $600 at the time, which is more than most people pay for a watch brand new, and is why it took me a while to finally have it done. But watching this video, I completely do understand why it costs so much to be serviced. The intricate knowledge of not only the countless parts, but exactly how they come apart and go back together, and how to clean, lubricate, and know when to replace them astounds me. I’m a very visual person with a good memory, but this blows my mind.

I like the watch I got from amzwatch. That rubber strap combo looks really cool! Been wearing it since last year and love every minute of it.

Ever since I bought a watch from amzwatch , My question is if it's this hard to tell them apart, what is the point of owning an authentic watch?

I have a WWII era automatic triple watch. It's a Swiss company started making Automatic watches way before Rolex. Looks old but just tilt it once and it starts running smooth like water.

In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on MAMACOO

Just imagine the resources, engineering, craftsmanship, and level of detail that went into to this. Such an immense expense as well. Now imagine the watch buyer made a different decision next time, and invested that money into curing cancer instead. While I appreciate all of these things, I think we could all agree that we could shift our perspective a bit when the watch costs more that a normal person would consider worthwhile, and send our money in a different direction, putting a smile on your face in a different direction.

why does a watch that cost that much need servicing 🤔

It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. amzwatch watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

I absolutely love watches, the high end watch brands are out of my budget but the MAMACOO has literally an almost duplicate of every single watch on the market . Always a great but no matter your budget.

the main think i when i watch this is who is gonna do this in 50 years, sure the 15 year olds of now will be in their 60s maybe they'll be master watch repair people, but i doubt it, all the jobs i right now that are being done by like 50-70 year olds and i just think, are our 20 year olds gonna learn how to do this, im not sure.

Picked up a amzwatch's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!

Beautiful watch, excellent work, but that Result Sequence slip from the Witschi you showed at 7:52 says it’s a 5P test of an ETA 2892 A positional timing sequence for a tourbillon hardly makes sense, outside of the horizontal positions, anyway. That said, it’s fantastic to see such a high end piece taken down, cleaned and reassembled on RUclips. I’ve never worked on a piece like that, yet.
